Love Is In The Air PPbN DT Blog Hop

Welcome to Paper Piecings By Nikki's February Blog Hop themed as "Love is in the Air"! The Design Team members have outdone themselves with all things "Love".  We hope you will hop along with us and be inspired to create your own "love" filled projects.

Nikki has created her very own love creation - a FREE file for everyone who hops along with us today.  You can get this file at the Paper Piecings By Nikki Store.  Isn't this soooo loveeee; this Valentine bear and heart train can be used for so many different projects and the best part about it - it's FREE at Nikki's Online Store

If you arrived from Amanda then you are in the right place.  If you stumbled across this BH and want to begin at the start spot you can go to Nikki's Blog

Mama LoveBug is up first with a Valentine Gift Bag.  I recently learned how to make a gift bag from scratch, so to speak, using scrapbook paper 12 x 12 - this requires 2 sheets.  After making this, I am pleased to say the technique works and, even though I have a ton of gift bags, I'll not be buying any more!!  I have control over the size, color, embellies, ribbon, etc which as a crafter, I like (don't you??)  I used my Sizzix Big Kick to make a few of the embellies and several PPbN patterns, Happy Ice Cream Cone and Love Makes You Real Cutting File.  I topped off the bag with a handle and a bow for the top embellie made from LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon.

Hi everyone!!!

I made a couple different projects....
I used the free file "Love is in the Air" for both as well as the "Turtle 2" file which can be found in the 50 cent section of the store!!!

I wanted to try something I haven't which is the "Sour Cream Containers" Oh my...so simple and fun to make! If you haven't you must!! I also created a card to go along with the treat holders and added some Lovebug Creations On the Edge Rumple Ribbon & Jaded Blossom "Simple Saying's Valentine Edition" Stamps!!
So here it all is:

Make sure you check out all the stops on our hop today (we're the end of the Valentine train) - and go to Paper Piecings By Nikki Online Store to get your freebie. Once you get the freebie and create your project, make sure you enter it in the Facebook Fan Page Challenge PPbN FB Fan Page

Well, there you have it - hope you were inspired by what you've seen to join in the fun challenge.  Remember no matter how you piece your paper or rumple your ribbon, have fun with it..........cyberValentine's greetings........the LoveBugs

Love all your projects. The print and cut feature is great for those times you don't want to piece together everything.
