Mama Lovebug's Butterfly Gift Tag & Christine's Sweet Gift Bag ♥

Good Morning, Crafties.........I hope your Memorial Weekend was full of fun and good cheer!  In NW Ohio we had a very dismal, cloudy day with plenty of rain. Can you say the word yucky!  I needed to make a gift tag for a friend so I pulled out the delightful cardstock from The Robin's Nest and punched out some pretty butterflies.  LBC has been featuring projects with the wonderful Sorbet Glitter collection this month - wow the month really zipped by, but it's been inspiring to use their products!!  I must confess I'm not a real glitter fan but this paper is NOT super glittery so you don't have a mess on your hands or your craft area - good thing to know, right? I just became familiar with Mr. Huey sprays and masks so I took some Kraft cardstock and sprayed it using the mask and sprays.  Then I covered parts of this with LoveBug Creations Mama's Mesh and added some LBC Rumple Ribbon for bows and gift tag tail.  These products were great fun to work with and I bet you have some ideas on how you too can create a project for an upcoming event that is both versatile and unique.  Click on this link to view the LBC Online Store

3 Ah-MAY-Zing Ladies share some awesome cards ♥

Hello Buckeyes and Crafties!  

Today I want to share a card cut out on the Cameo for a friend who has a friend who just had a future OSU alum..........well the thing is I cut out this onesie three times.  First I used pink damask paper and then I cut out a onesie with red damask paper.  My third cut used OSU designer paper, and because it was on the flimsy side, I adhered it to the red damask and used the trim pieces of pink and OSU paper on each card.

Jaded Blossom has a two-piece treat die that came in handy for the sentiment (stamp from my stash) and then I created bows for both cards using LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon - red and pink and red and grey. HERE

I love this Cameo!!  I should have bought one last year but never thought I'd care for it.........wrong.........if you are on the fence.......jump over quicker than I did!!  Also, I'd like to thank my daughter and fellow LoveBug Creations partner, Kimi, for all her help as she is also new to the Cameo!!  Our LBC CT mates, Tanya and Zeni, have been extolling the wonders of the Cameo for months - we should have listened to them sooner!

AND NOW FOR MAMA'S PROJECT!!!

Butterfly Kisses to You Today.  With so many birthdays cropping up I decided to share a birthday card I made with my new Cameo…….yes, I’ve joined the Cameo love-fest with such a vast array of possibilities for crafty fun.  This was my first card and I picked a style way out of my comfort zone for this – a slider card.  My mom's b-day is in a few weeks and since she lives in a nursing home, I wanted to design something that could be hung for her enjoyment.

Now you can see the intricate cut on the outside of the slider, which has sort of a bellyband with a cut out in the center.  I used a stamp from my stash, which says Butterfly Kisses and Birthday Wishes.  I used some other products to decorate this very dainty card:

*The Robin’s Nest Dew Drops and The Robin's Nest Sorbet collection in pink for the butterfly HERE

*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon for the triple bow, the bottom bow, and top tail – I thought this could be used as a doorknob hanging or on a wall or bulletin board HERE

Lovely Spring Cards and Treats by Dawn Mercedes & Dorcas ♥

Another sweet day to show off two funtastic companies and their crafty products! 

This month...Lovebug Creations is pairing up with

So dilemma...your kids love candy.

You want to give them some...but not one of those large boxes of $1 candy from Walgreens.

What to do? 

Well, using 4.25 x 5.5 inch Sorbet Papers from The Robin's Nest,

I created these sour cream containers.  Since I have 3 kids, I made three. But there was enough candy to make a #4...with a few to snack on during the creative endeavors!! (Be sure to have 1" Liner Tape and Glue Dots © on hand to make your job more simple!)

I love crimping the edges.

Don't you love the splashes of glitter!!

So, if you are loving these colors of papers, be sure to pick up the Spring Rainbow collection of Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations.  These vibrant colors will add a bit of flair to any craft project!  Now I can give each of the kids 1/4 of a box of candy...

The Robin's Nest Shout Out - Mama LoveBug Style - A Perpetual Calendar

Good Day, Crafties.  I love to make practical gifts so I've designed a perpetual calendar - it can be useful and decorative for your kitchen area or desk to keep you "on top" of significant birthdays, anniversaries, or other special dates (all in one place)!  At the end of the year lots of people have to laboriously recopy dates onto a new calendar - why do that when you can have a perpetual day finder of your own?

First here's the inside - as you can guess, each month is numbered with the appropriate days so one can record the special occasions.

*Two charming Sherri Baldy digi stamps - round and rectangle

*Frames from two Spellbinder dies

*The Robin's Nest Glittered Sorbet cardstock - I used Kiwi and Aquamarine HERE

*Bottom Border fancy punch

*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon for the weaving around each frame - HERE

*Prisma colored pencils, gamsol, Stickles, and gel pen for coloring and highlighting each image

Zeni's Birthday Blessings and Martha's Thank You ♥

Good Friday morning everybody! Zeni here with  a simple card/giftcard holder using the limited Old Glory collection.  This Revere's Ride red is such a beautiful color.  I love how it stands out with the blue!

Hi friends!

I'm here to share some teacher appreciation gift card holders that I whipped up using several Lovebug Creations rumple ribbon colors and Robin's Nest sorbet collection glitter paper. We've all been there. Messed up on a sheet of pretty paper...and now you don't have enough for a standard sized card base. The remedy is here for you! Add some paper filler!

My paper was not 11 inches...but it was 4.25 inches wide.

I ripped the edge of Shocking Pink Sorbet Paper from The Robin's Nest.

Score at 5.5 inches. Then add another piece of paper (5.5 x 4.25 inches) to the front.

I embellished the front with Green Leaves Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations.

The Tag is Green Sorbet from The Robin's nest.

Pink and Green...a great spring color combo!!

The back side has the stunning glitter look from The Robin's Nest.

 

Remember to decorate the inside with some Sorbet Paper too!

Just lovely, don't you think?

For my project today, I created a card with glittery butterflies! The paper was so fun to work with! It has built in shimmer - no need to pull out the glitter and get all messy :-) I think the Princess Danika ribbon from the Royal Shimmer Collection goes perfect with this paper too.

I bought the largest subscription to the store because I figured there's new stuff out all the time and still so much "old" stuff too!

Thank goodness I did because I discovered Lori Whitlock's files and think I "NEED" them all!

That said I downloaded all of her new shaped 3-D frames and the easel to sit them in... ♥
