Hey Lovebug friends! Stephanie here on this fabulous Wednesday.

I want to share with you some more "thank you" notes that I recently made.  

I am the worst at getting them out to people! These are for friends & they are just a few weeks late!!

For the first card, I used the beautiful Rosebud rumple ribbon from the "Spring Rainbow" collection. On my second card, I used a sheer ribbon in Crushed  from the "Loves Me...Love Me Knot" collection! I made a flower with the ribbon & adorned it with a Beautiful Bloom in the center.

It is with a very heavy heart I make my final post for Love Bug Creations.  I have so appreciated being a part of this creative team.  I have learned so much from each and every fellow member.  Kim and Pam run this company like true professionals - and that is a lovely gift in the craft world.  I am so grateful for all they have done to promote me and my brand.

I wish I had the time to give them and their amazing product the attention it deserves but I am not going to pursue another term.  I will miss you all!!!

OK - enough sniffling... on to the post...  I am giving you a twofer this week.  Same great stamp from  Paper Trey Ink, but one card with Simply Black Rumple Ribbon and the other with Mama's Mesh.  I really like how the mesh repeats that 'giraffe feel'

 

Card Kit w/ Katie ♥

Have you tried these card kits yet??? You can find them on HSN and HOLY COW!!!! They make the nicest, most detailed cards in literally minutes! Now, the kits include perefctly coordinated little bows, but I have to confess, I prefer my Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations. I like to wrap around a card and often like the knot as opposed to a bow. You might see a few more of these in the next few posts because I just LOVE how quickly they come together. This Garden Window set is perfectly matched to the Spring Collection from Lovebug Creations!

Hey friends! It's Stephanie here today to share a project I made for my daughter, Leah.
She had her fifth grade play last week at school & the final performance was Friday night. Her dad and I both gave her flowers after the play was over. I made this star wand to accompany them in the vase.

I was super excited by the way it turned out! I added some "Fun Footz" ribbons (that are now retired) in the zebra & giraffe print  to the back of the star. My bow is made with "Kisses" simply sheer ribbon from the "Loves Me...Loves Me Knot" collection, and rumple ribbon in "Rosebud".

People seem to always ask... what is your inspiration... Sadly, it is new product!  I ordered a big (BIG!) box of Paper Trey Ink Stamps and I just LOVE this pretty little butterfly that also has a matching die. I wanted to use it so I went to Pinterest and found a sketch with an image about the same size. This one didn't have measurements, so I eyeballed it - I just love how the papers coordinate and that Caddy Blue Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations is a perfect match!

   

 

 

Stephanie's Gorgeous Layout & Katie's Terrific Journal ♥

Hey Lovebug friends! Happy Wednesday! I hope you're week is going well. These Spring days are slipping by so quickly.

Here is a layout I created using Lovebug Creations' Rumple Ribbon and a Mama's Rose!

I used "Blue Bells" from the Gardens of Tara collection on my tag and a Mama's Rose in green. They are so gorgeous and fun to create with!! You can read more about this layout on my blog.

The traveling journal has come around again... this time, the owner wants us to use words that inspire our art... so I did.  On the bottom a few quotes on the waterfall, which I cut to allow all three to be seen at the same time

I needed to hide the 'seam' of the waterfall and what better than Rumple Ribbon in Sunset?  Once in a while I do a project without Lovebugs Rumple, but it never looks as finished.  This really brought the whole piece together.  To add some movement, I put in a lot (A LOT) of brads in different finishes.

Hey every"buggy"! Stephanie here today.
Two weeks ago I celebrated my birthday and I have such amazing family & friends. I was showered with many gifts & surprises, so now I have many "thank you" cards to send!
Here are a few that I have created

HOW FUN IS THIS!!!!  This is a one on one swap with the Marie Antoinette group and I just loved making this for my partner.  It measures 4.5 inches tall by 4 inches wide when closed.... when closed with that BEAUTIFUL blue Rumple Ribbon from the new spring collection.  I  just love how versatile this product it is.  I really use it on 90% of my projects!
Here are a few pics - but for a better look, stop by the Video.  To help secure that large piece of lace I added some buttons and a stick pin.

 Inside, I made a little pocket for some treats.  That Mama's Mesh always comes in handy for pockets.  And a isn't that rick rack HUGE!!  I liked the layering of the two.

 Here I stitched in a few pieces of felt to hold the needles and pins.  On the blue page I added a little piece of lace and I just love how pretty and simple that looks!

This simple card can be used for a variety of occasions. I used white Mama's Mesh on the base of the card & tied a dainty bow to the tag. My bow is made from the gorgeous "Purple-Dise" from the On the Edge collection.

A couple of my favorite crafty girls host the Scrap Cafe on Facebook.  I don't swap with them often (enough) but I just couldn't pass up the spring mason jar filled with lace and trim (no ribbon).  We were to bling up the outside of the jar in a 'spring' feel and I thought the green Mama's Mesh screamed SPRING to me!! Around the top of this one I added a piece of I Love Grunge (I just can not get enough of that one!!) and a pretty spring button. Hope the girls can use their new goodies :)

Hey Lovebug friends!
I have another Lovebug Creations' project to share on this Wednesday.
Over the weekend a friend's daughter turned two! Oh how sweet & precious. Those days seem so fresh in my mind but also a distant memory.
This is the tag I made to adorn Quinn's gift:

 I used the new rumple ribbon from the Gardens of Tara collection in "Garden Green". I love how crisp these new ribbons are & they are the perfect touch to any Springtime project. Be sure to check out the store for all of the fabulous rumple ribbon colors!
I also added a gorgeous Beautiful Bloom to the center of the butterfly.

Hey y'all! I hope Spring has arrived in your corner of the world. It is absolutely gorgeous here!

Spring is a busy time for birthdays and celebrations -Mother's Day, graduation, Father's Day, just to name a few. So I will be busy card-making for awhile!

My daughter's BFF is turning 13 on Friday!! It's so hard to believe! We have known her since she was 2. I made her this card:

I used the new "Spring Lilac" rumple ribbon. I love this color so very much (even though I am not a huge fan of purple)! It is so light & fresh looking. And my daughter's friend's favorite color is purple!!

Hey every"buggy"! I am here today to share a quick treat box that I made for the office secretary at my kids' school. She has been such a huge help to me with various projects, that I wanted to give her a little something.

I bought these pillow boxes at Target. Then I took a chipboard flower & covered it with rumple ribbon in Panther Pink and then topped that off with a bow in William from the Family Ties collection. It's pretty simple but hopefully she will love the little treat today!

I am here to share my latest project and today I am showcasing Mama's Mesh! I love the feel & texture of the mesh and think it is so fun to add to any project. Here is the tag I created:

  Ty went to a friend's birthday party on Saturday, and since last week was super busy, I didn't have time to make a birthday card. So minutes before he left for the party, I created this cute little tag! I love the dimension that the mesh adds. I even tied some on the top of the tag along with twine. Today I am sharing a project I made for my daughter's sweet friend. I found this charm on sale and it happened to be her initial, so I bought it, knowing I could come up with something for her. I made her this bookmark:

 I started with 3 colors of rumple ribbon: Purple People Eater from the Fright Night collection, Green Goddess (which is now retired), and Kisses from the Loves Me...Love Me Knot collection and braided them together. The charm is tied on the end.
I thought this would be awesome to give her for her birthday along with a gift certificate to the bookstore.
