Katie + Kathy + Stephanie = Friday Fun!!!! ♥

Happy Friday, Every-Buggy!!!
It's my favorite day of the week
(hehehe...Weekend here we come!)
And it also means 3 very talented CT Members
are sharing some inspiration with you!!!
Could it get any better?
I don't think so!!!!

Katie
I had an order from the office to make a few invites.  The request was fall feeling, must fit in a standard envelope with only one stamp.  Well, nuts!  That sure limits me these days!
However, that perfect Rumple Ribbon is so USPS friendly, I knew I would be using some on my card.
However, I didn't know I would love this sunset color so much I would use EVERY single scrap Kimi sent me in my Creative Team package.
For details on what I did to showcase this image visit the blog.

Happy Friday LoveBug Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I am sharing with you a simple card featuring "Simply Black" Rumple Ribbon.

Sometimes I tend to over-think things and then I realize that simple is okay too :)

Have a great Friday and Thanks for stopping by!

Stephanie
Hi Lovebug friends!!
Stephanie here to share my project this week using Lovebug Creations' rumple ribbon. And guess what-it's not a card!!
I saw this idea on Pinterest using fall leaves. While I didn't have any silk leaves around the house, I did have these spooky looking feathers and thought they would make a great Halloween/Fall home decor project!
I used Halloween Grunge rumple ribbon in orange and Edgy Halloween rumple ribbon in black to add that special touch to the mason jar. I lit a tealight candle and got a perfect, eerie glow from my project!
You can see more about this altered jar on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share with you all today! Make it a great Friday!

Dorcas & Dawn Mercedes Go Green ♥

Seems like babies are everywhere these days!  A friend asked for my help in making these cute diaper invitations.  I'm sure you all have seen them over the years, but she fell in love with them.  It took a little time to figure out, but once I did, cutting and making them was easy.  The colors go so perfectly with this beautiful rumple ribbon, don't you think?

Don't forget to swing by my blog too!!!

And now for Dawn Mercedes' Project!!!!

Green Leaves Rumple Ribbon isn't just for the spring, summer, and out of doors. Just look what warm and cheer it can bring to your Christmas cards!  I love it against the red Glitter Swirl paper from The Robin's Nest!

Just think how you might personalize that mini gift tag!

Summer is ending. That means that it's time to start revving up for
your fall/winter craft plans.  Surprise me on my blog and let me know what YOU
are planning on creating this year!!

For my projects - I made a table favor and a grillin card.

Table Favor
*Printed art from Trina Clark (ants, hot dogs, and fixings) - fussy cut 2x for front and back and highlighted with gel pens
*LoveBug Creations Fun Footz (a patterned ribbon collection) - if you look closely you'll see I punched holes in the mustard and ketchup and threaded some LBC Rumple Ribbon too - LBC Online Store
*Die cut using Kraft paper for the sentiment - Picnic Time

 Grillin' Card
*First of all you may be wondering - a card at a picnic party?  Is it an invitation - could be, but my idea was to take pictures of the guests and give each one a memento of the occasion, which in my case is a double-b-day grillin' party for my husband and grand-daughter!
*Print art from Trina Clark (ants, hamburger, and fixings)
*LoveBug Creations Fun Footz - 2 bows (a patterned ribbon collection)
*Mister Huey Mask and Sprays for this triple-layered card
*Inside the card I made a pocket so a picture can be enclosed

I wish you a special grillin' event in your summer life!!

Here is the entire line-up in case you get lost:

Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it........cyberGrillin' and Chillen'...........Mama LoveBug

Gorgeously Green Blog Hop

Welcome to the Gorgeously Green Blog Hop.  Today’s hop brings you some inspiration on all things GREEN – different shades, different projects to showcase the color.  If you hopped over from our blog hostess, Melanie, you’re on the right path.
If you leave a comment on everyone’s post, you could win Melanie's blog candy consisting of paper from DCWV and Basic Grey, Rub-ons, ribbon, borders, printable alphas, adhesive, and more!

Well now on to my projects! I chose to use several shades of green for a fun birthday card or invitation to a party!
Here's my first blog hop offering:
Recipe for the Get Your Party ON card
*Stampin Up cardstock for base of the card, green for a layer, and yellow for sentiment mat plus two pieces of checkerboard paper from my stash
*Focal image of a Girlfriends Art Impressions Stamp in her conveyance complete with cat, purse, of course, the hat made from a piece of hot pink felt scrap (store bought)
*The image was colored with watercolor pencils, and gel-pen/Stickles highlighting – I love Stickles!!
*The checkerboard highway was Stickled with greens and a few pearl accents
*Pink daisy from my flower stash
*Sentiment stamped on SU Whisper White
*Accent bow from our LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon found at LBC Rumple Ribbon

So after making that one, I pulled out another Girlfriends Art Impressions Stamp and made a triple-stamped card - same basic materials with a few high heels accent stamps and a different green colored LBC Rumple Ribbon for a Born To Be Wild card.

I'm entering these cards in the All That Stickles Linky Party

I hope you’re inspired to create your own green projects today.  Remember no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it………….cyberhugs……..Mama LoveBug

And now let’s see what’s gorgeously green at  Liz Mullen's spot.

Mama LoveBug does NOT have a machine to cut SVG so I fussy cut by hand. I'm Not Horsin' Around - I Love Ewe was my theme, using the Horsin Around PPbN collection to mix in with The Easter Lamb. Here's what I started with:

These are the piecings that I used - see the lamb chopped up a bit
These are the gold embossed western images from Pink By Design and some buttons I utilized for embellies.
Next I constructed my pocketcard with some cardstock from a farm collection.
I made my own paper using the PPbN championship horse - I took a side view photo of this.
Here's my completed card with a computer-generated sentiment - I'm Not Horsin' Around - I Love Ewe with the Ewe gold-embossed.

This is a picture of the base of the card where I used the horseshoe and a button with twine.
Finally I am sharing the card insert so You can see gel pen and Stickles for enhancement of the images.

Hi everyone! Hope you've been enjoying all the different ways you can use this little lamb! I (Kimi) decided to make up a party invite! I couldn't resist pairing the Easter Lamb with the Red Solo cup from the "Let's Have a Party" set!
I don't know that you can really tell in the photo but I used some fun flock on the little lamb and it's super fluffy and cute in person! I think this would be a fun invite to receive! :)

Paper Piecings By Nikki DT Offering - Are You Ready to Party??

For anyone who’s planning a New Year’s Eve Party and wants something unique for an invitation, use the delightful bears (champagne and top hat) in the Happy New Year 2012 Pattern Set of Paper Piecings By Nikki found at http://www.paperpiecingsbynikki.com  There are even some numbers included in the collection for the year(s), so it's a set that can be used in future years too.  Nikki's collections are reasonably priced so they won't break the bank!

I used these bears in combination with Greeting Farm Stamps New Year Anya to create my invitation. Nikki’s piecings go with so many other stamps, digis, and piecings; they’re very versatile.

I started out with a base of embossed white and a second layer of patterned paper with just the right pinks and light colors to go with the green invitation – You’re Invited – which I cut out with my Bick Kick using a Sizzix die.  Then after fussy cutting my little bears and Miss Anya (colored with glitter pens), I pop-dotted them onto my card, added a cute bow for little mister top hat bear, and stickled the champagne bubbles, the balloons, and a few other spots for more texture.  Here’s my invitation:
