The 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day Seven

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop.  We've reached the half way point in this event! Our blog hostess Lisa is where you should begin the hop if you get lost. Hopefully you've just leaped over from Jillian

I have had so much inspiration from the visitors' comments and have enjoyed reading them each day - thank you so much!!

"The Twelve Days of Christmas" is a cumulative song, meaning that each verse is built on top of the previous verses. There are twelve verses, each describing a gift given by "my true love" on one of the twelve days of Christmas....and so forth, until the last verse:
On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping
10 Lords-a-Leaping
9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids-a-Milking
7 Swans-a-Swimming...........Today's Project
6 Geese-a-Laying...see Day Six's gift tag
Gold Rings...........see Day Five's gift tag
4 Calling Birds.........see Day Four's pocket card
3 French Hens.......see Day Three's pocket card
2 Turtle Doves.........see Day Two's center step card
And a Partridge in a Pear Tree - see Day One's center step card

First of all, I want to thank Beccy's Place who has an amazing collection of free digis.  She posted a series of the Twelve Days of Christmas vintage images (some time ago and the collection appears to have disappeared online) and that started me thinking of how I could showcase her digi stamps for this hop. She has loads of other amazing images for many occasions.
This is a gift box that I constructed with beige cardstock (it's like a little pizza box where you can tuck a small treat inside); a 2-panel mat of green checked paper and red polka dots is wrapped with a cross of Love Bug Creations Rumple Ribbon and the digi image is adhered to the top.  Again I used colored pencils and Stickles to give the swans some dimension.

Check out the referral prize at the LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon Store! You could win the "Christmas Joy" Collection! Also the first 25 orders will receive a little free something something from our fabulous friend, Tanya Stilwell! :)
Thank you for stopping by....drop me a comment and become a follower if you've a mind........remember no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it........cyberhugs.........Mama LoveBug!
Now I'll send you to Rebecca and after her hop over to visit Teresa

Harvesting Memories Blog Hop

**EDITED TO ADD WINNER OF BLOG CANDY***

Thanks to everyone and congrats to...
Sarah B!!!
Congrats again! I will email you about your prize!!!
:)

Welcome to Harvesting Memories Blog Hop.  Did you get enough turkey and fixings yesterday?  Were there leftovers on the menu for today?  Did you hop over from Misty; did you get lost - if so, you can start the hop with our hostess Lisa who has some exciting blog candy offerings.

We were asked to think of our Harvesting Memories for this hop and so I remember the wonderful Thanksgiving feasts my mother would slave over and delight us with her cooking - I'm not a turkey lover, but I love all the fixings. One Thanksgiving (when I had a family of my own), my mom couldn't come to prepare the meal (She'd always take over the kitchen and I knew better than to get in her way). Anyway, I had the responsibility of cooking the meal for our daughters as my husband had to work that day.  As I said, I'm not a turkey person, so I made spaghetti and meatballs for our festive treat! It's been years ago, but I'm still trying to live that one down........LOL.......These moments stay with me and I bet you have some great ones too.

I designed three cards with the Thanksgiving flavor.  This first is a triple-stamped card using SU products - cardstock, ink, and sentiment. My center piece is a Paper Piecings by Nikki fussy cut image from one of her darling collections.  The ribbon is a special treat as well - it's LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon, which we recently launched.  You can find the link at the top of our blog if you've a mind to check us out.

The second card used SU products, Peachy Keen turkey stamp, and LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon.

My last offering is yet again a triple-stamped card with SU products and a darling set of Thanksgiving characters capped off with LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon.  If you look closely, you'll see I actually double-stamped the turkey to give him some dimension.

Blog Candy Alert - I will send one lucky USA winner, a sample of our new ribbon from our LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon store.
1.  Leave a comment and a way to contact you.
2.  Become a follower if you aren't already.
3.  Promise to have fun with your crafting.........and tell me how you'll use your rumple ribbon.
I'll be notifying the winner on November 26 (Monday).

Thank you for hopping today - remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it............cyberhugs.........Mama LoveBug!

Now I'll send you to Vanessa

Paper Piecings by Nikki DT Offering - Owl Be Thinking of You

I love the creative and unique set of owls that Paper Piecings by Nikki has designed in the collection called Owl Be There For You.  It sports a generous number of owls and can be used for many different paper crafting techniques and occasions.  Today I'm using the idea of an Owl Be Thinking of YOU.  I bet you can imagine someone whom you're thinking about for whatever reason - what a perfect idea for a card to let somebody know you care!

I fussy cut the owl and added gel-pen highlights.  My triple-stamped card is made with various SU products - cardstock, ink, harvest leaves and acorns, a sentiment - thinking of you - and ribbon.

Remember, no matter how you piece your paper, have fun with it..........cyberhugs.........Mama LoveBug!

They All Matter Blog Hop

Welcome to the They All Matter Blog Hop.

Everybody matters and when it comes to fighting cancer, all forms need to be of prime concern.  It's wonderful to be invited to help raise the level of awareness for this cause.  If you've come from Ashley you are on the right path.  If you need to find the leader, go to Lisa, Blog Hostess.

I've chosen to highlight leukemia - I personally know several local families who have been dealing with this awful condition.  It not only touches the victim but the victim's family and friends.

My card was a triple-stamped card with orange ink and the cause ribbon from Close to My Heart.  The Cancer Bear was a digi stamp from Paper Piecings by Nikki.  I used orange colored pencils, orange gel gens, and orange Stickles for highlighting.  I topped off the card with orange ribbon.  The sentiment was a Pink by Design stamp - Hang in There!

My paper brooch is an example of wearable art - a SU punch, some orange ribbon paper, an orange button with twine, and a computer generated tag - Leukemia Awareness.

The complete line-up - please visit and comment at each stop

Remember, they all matter...............cyberhugs..........Mama LoveBug.

Now I'll send you on to Christine
