My wonderful father passed away in 2007 so I won't be able to share this card with him; this card has several shades of brown and a bit of orange - two of his favorite colors.

Super Dad Scenario from long ago: my mom was outside hanging up the washing and my dad was inside painting a hallway to our bathroom.  I was about five years old and when he wasn't looking I decided to grab the paint brush and add some "artistic" touches to the wall.  He just smiled and said, "we better cover that over before your mom sees it" - no scoldings there.....he always had my back.  Such a little moment but I always remember it!

I wanted to create a masculine card with some texture and dimension so I opened up my craft arsenal and pulled out the following:
LoveBug Creations Orange Mama's Mesh HERE
Brown Twine
Stampin Up stamps for Dad's Day and Whisper White and Light Brown Cardstock
A wood panel embossing folder
Distress ink - vintage photo
Gel pen for highlighting and accents

I ran the whisper white with the embossing folder through my Big Shot and inked the panel with vintage photo distressed ink; I stamped out the images and sentiment, fussy cut and mounted each on a piece of cardboard and cut again - for me this is the best way to have images sturdy and defined.  The finishing touches were Mama's Mesh, brown twine, and a corner rounder for the edges of the card............remember no matter how you bunch your blooms, rumple your ribbon, and piece your paper, have fun with it.............cyber Dad's Day..........Mama LoveBug

 Up next is MELANIE

Here is our complete line up in case you get lost along the way:

Thanks so much for joining us! Happy Father's Day to all the Men in our lives!!

I know grandpa would have loved this card! And I can totally picture him covering up your art before grandma saw it. What a great memory! He was a super man ❤️

I lost my dad in 2005, but I know he would have loved this card. Just looking at it brought back a lot of wonderful Fathers Days with him.

Love this card. Thanks for the memories...
