Mad Hatter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Mad Hatter Blog Hop!  It's a great day to be silly
and celebrate silliness in a crafty way.

If you zipped over from SANDY, you're on the right course, but if you just tumbled down the rabbit hole and found this hop, you should skip over to our blog hostess to begin with CONNIE

This is a one day hop and we have a funtastic sponsor - Designs on Cloud 9

The prize is a $10 gift certificate.
How can you win this, you ask??
Well, here's your task
Swing over and like Designs on Cloud 9 on FB HERE
The online store is HERE
1. Become a follower of each Mad Hatter and leave each craftie a love note.
2. Then go back to Connie Can Crop and tell her that you've followed the rules.  You have until 12 AM on Monday to hop; the winner will be posted on Connie's blog on Wednesday.

Background on the Mad Hatter Day
The Mad Hatter, a fictional character depicted in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, is always acting silly, so it's only fair and fitting to act a little silly yourself.  It's even ok to let a bit of silliness spill over into your crafting life as well. The selection of the day actually has merit as the Mad Hatter wears a top hat and on the front is a slip of paper with 10/6 written on it.  The slip is believed to be a hat order costing ten shillings and sixpence.  Since today is October 6, this has become the official Mad Hatter Day.

My Mad Hatter Projects
If you want to host a Mad Hatter Party, you'd need some table decor, so my first project is just that - a Mad Hatter (actually a Mad Hatteress - as you see)

Along with this, if you have someone celebrating a birthday on or near October 6, you might want a coordinating card for this celebration.
