Back To School Blog Hop

Welcome to the Back to School Blog Hop. If you were locating your locker and stopped over from LORI you're in the right hallway but if you stumbled upon our hop and want to begin with our blog principal, Connie Can Crop, go HERE
Today we invite you to check out this great group of crafters who will be showcasing cards, layouts, or projects all about school days. This is a one day blog hop and we appreciate you leaving a comment to encourage all our fabulous crafty friends to continue sharing their ideas and creations.

We have an awesome sponsor and giveaway for this hop!
My Craft Spot HERE
Kimberly has donated a super cute Birthday Wishes Stamp Set

My Craft Spot has over 50 stamp and metal die sets.  Shipping is free in the U.S.  They also have an awesome Gallery Blog that is full of fun projects. Please feel free to show our sponsor some love by visiting the links below!

So what do you need to do to win? Easy... become  a follower of each of the fabulous blogs in this hop and leave each of us a comment letting us know what you liked best about our projects.  Then come back to Connie Can Crop and post that you followed the "school" rules.
You will have until 9:00 pm Sunday to finish the hop and leave your comments.

My project is a perpetual calendar for any important dates - as a school treat it could contain the b-days of family, friends, classmates, big events like holiday occasions or school celebrations, etc.  This would be a wonderful gift for the teacher, librarian, bus driver, etc for Christmas.  The possibilities are endless.
I decided to participate in a Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas

Recipe
*A blank pre-made perpetual calendar - each month allows one to note important dates; at the end of the year you don't have to recopy the info which makes this much better than the old "take a new calendar and copy the important items onto it and throw away the old calendar" method
*Specialty school cardstock
*Clipart images from Digi My World - each one of the eight school tool characters that I used (there's more in that collection) is delightful for other things - 3D projects, cards, bookmarks, scrapbook LO's, etc; I printed, fussy cut, positioned, and gel-pen highlighted each character - see these sweeties HERE
*Computer-generated sentiment - School Is Cool
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon - bows on several characters and two for the top to give those finishing touches - check out LBC online store HERE

As a retired teacher with 38 years in the same system, I wish I had one of these during my career, but sadly I wasn't into paper crafting then.......on the upside, I can design one for myself as well as give these as gifts.  I bet you know someone who would like one too!!

Locker line-up for the hop:

Remember no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it.......cyberschooldays...........Mama LoveBug
