Sweet Booing to You - Mama LoveBug Style

Spooky this and scary that to you, Crafties!  It's only two more days until Halloween so have you been busy creating some treasures for your little ones?  Sometimes it's better to err on the side of sweetness for a Halloween surprise rather than the more gruesome styles, especially for tender tinies!  With that in mind I'm sharing a simple table decoration for a children's party that won't frighten but hopefully will delight young eyes!

My digi image is from Jessica Weible Illustrations and I added some extra embellies for sweet booing:
*gel pen for accenting
*Halloween stickers for dimples and sentiment
*Goosebumps Shimmer Spray
*LoveBug Creations Halloween Grunge Rumple Ribbon HERE

Don't forget to mark November 2 (this Saturday) on your crafty calendar - LBC will be revealing some more great rumple products and a few surprises in our Have a Meshy Rumple Christmas Hop...........remember no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it..........cyberbooing.........Mama LoveBug

Mama's Mesh Monday w/ Dawn Mercedes & Connie!!!! ♥

It's time for another
Mama's Mesh Monday w/
Dawn Mercedes & Connie!!!
So sit back and prepare to be inspired!!!

Who says it has to lay flat?

After cutting the Mesh in half, lengthwise, I tied a knot in each section
Then, I used strong Craft Glue Dots ® to adhere each section to form a rainbow.
The sentiment comes from PaperMakeup Stamps.

I just love this sentiment, because it is so true.

And I just love trying new things with Mama's Mesh!

Hello My Fellow LoveBugs!!!
It's my last post on Mama's Mesh Mondays for several months!!
I am moving on to Wednesdays but don't worry, I still have lots of mesh I plan to play with.
So for my last mesh product I wanted to create something special.
I hope I did!!

Katie + Kathy + Stephanie = Friday Fun!!!! ♥

Happy Friday, Every-Buggy!!!
It's my favorite day of the week
(hehehe...Weekend here we come!)
And it also means 3 very talented CT Members
are sharing some inspiration with you!!!
Could it get any better?
I don't think so!!!!

Katie
I had an order from the office to make a few invites.  The request was fall feeling, must fit in a standard envelope with only one stamp.  Well, nuts!  That sure limits me these days!
However, that perfect Rumple Ribbon is so USPS friendly, I knew I would be using some on my card.
However, I didn't know I would love this sunset color so much I would use EVERY single scrap Kimi sent me in my Creative Team package.
For details on what I did to showcase this image visit the blog.

Happy Friday LoveBug Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I am sharing with you a simple card featuring "Simply Black" Rumple Ribbon.

Sometimes I tend to over-think things and then I realize that simple is okay too :)

Have a great Friday and Thanks for stopping by!

Stephanie
Hi Lovebug friends!!
Stephanie here to share my project this week using Lovebug Creations' rumple ribbon. And guess what-it's not a card!!
I saw this idea on Pinterest using fall leaves. While I didn't have any silk leaves around the house, I did have these spooky looking feathers and thought they would make a great Halloween/Fall home decor project!
I used Halloween Grunge rumple ribbon in orange and Edgy Halloween rumple ribbon in black to add that special touch to the mason jar. I lit a tealight candle and got a perfect, eerie glow from my project!
You can see more about this altered jar on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share with you all today! Make it a great Friday!

Halloween's Almost Upon Us - LBC Halloween Grunge

Yes, Halloween's in 11 days - the time has come for me to get on my witch's broom and make some spirited cards for my little goblins and ghosties.
Good Sunday to you crafties.  It's Mama LoveBug here with two of my Halloween criss-cross cards.

Before I share these I'd like to tell you how sad I am to report what I heard on a recent visit to JoAnn's.  I absolutely love the Kathy Davis collection and I thought I'd take advantage of a coupon to get another paper stack. While I definitely got my KD fix, I noticed the entire collection which included a vast array of extras - buttons, brads, borders, mini-clips, etc was on 50% clearance.  Yay, I thought. This is super, so I stocked up.  When I went to the checkout I casually mentioned that I'm a fan and wondered when the next collection would be in the store.  The gal said that JoAnn's is discontinuing its line of Kathy Davis products.  The next day my daughter went to the same store and saw the KD products were up to 70% off.  It never fails - I find a super product and then it goes away!! That's my lament!

Oh well, here's what I designed today - 2 pieces of 12 x 12 paper did the trick on the swap out of paper - 2 cards that are similar yet different with contrasting colored Halloween Grunge found HERE

Recipe
*Halloween DCWV paper - super nice weight for this card style
*Jaded Blossom tag dies
*Butterfly Punch - EK
*LoveBug Creations Halloween Grunge

Stephanie, Katie, Kathy & Christine Rock the Blog!!!! ♥

YAY!!! It's Friday!!!
And do you know what that means???
Loads of Inspiration from Stephanie, Katie, Kathy & Christine!!!
I can't think of a better way to start your day!!!!

Hi Lovebug friends!
Welcome to another Friday at Lovebug Creations!
I have a card to share today that uses the fabulous Mama's Mesh.
Here I used the brown mesh from the Hallow-Mesh collection. I love the added texture this lends to my card!
You can see more about this card on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share today!
~Stephanie

I warned you there would be more shower pretties coming.  This is the gift bag I made for baby Izzy's present.  One of these days I will learn to make the bag AFTER I buy the gift.
However, the way I managed to shove all those cute clothes in this tiny bag earned me some very high packing praise ;)
For this I used the G45 Little Darlings paper and some 3D embellies I found at Tuesday Morning.
I added some Rumple Ribbon, of course and I thought the green is a much better contrast that using pink.  Pick up your own at www.lovebugcreations.net
Stop by the blog and tell me what you think www.craftykhandy.blogspot.com

Happy Friday Lovebug Fans!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I am sharing with you a pair of gingerbread cookie tags that I made.

I know it's not even Halloween yet, but I've been itching to start making Christmas stuff.  And you know that us crafters always need to be at least holiday ahead with our crafty projects :)

Here are my tags:

I just love what a little touch of Rumple Ribbon can do :)

I've got more pictures and details on my blog.

Happy Friday Boys and Ghouls!

I just love the Purple People Eater color from the Fright Night Collection. I'm not usually a purple person, but I love the pop of color that it adds to my Halloween crafts!

I have an easy and cute project for you on the Scarlet Calliope blog featuring one of my favorite Lovebug Creations Rumple Ribbon Halloween Colors!  Please come over and check out the details!

Have a Spooktacular weekend!

Congrats With Flair - Mama LoveBug Style

Good Thursday to the Crafties!

Today I'm sharing a vertical criss-cross card (actually two of them with some differences).  On Tuesday I discussed this card style and shared a horizontal card.  By turning your paper but still using the same technique one can have the criss-cross as a vertical design using two different 12 x 12 patterned papers and swapping out the patterns - this is especially delightful when you have gorgeous paper like the Kathy Davis collections!  Also it's fun to add the belly band of contrasting paper and the pocket insert - use your imagination for endless possibilities with this style and write your own message on the back of the insert.

As you can see I made two different but similar criss-cross cards using the theme of Congratulations - a wedding, anniversary, new baby, new job, retirement, birthday, etc!

 Recipe for this Congratulations
*Kathy Davis cardstock
*Jaded Blossom tag dies and sentiment
*butterfly and flower punches - EK
*dry gold embossed cakes - stamp from my stash
*Dew Drops, pearls, and Stickles
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon - Augusta from the Family Ties Oh Cecelia collection HERE

Hi everyone,

I needed to make a large group of Thank You cards.  I searched my favorite blogs and got inspiration from THIS post on Becky Roberts' blog.  I made several varieties of this card using different rumple ribbons and varying the cardstock. Please visit My Blog to see them all.

Dawn Rene here to share a DIY Halloween wreath made with Lovebug Creations rumpled ribbon. I absolutely LOVE the Edgy Halloween collection - this was the perfect opportunity to use it!

I purchased a double ring wire base from Michael's with a 40% coupon . I cut about 14 yards of ribbon into 4-5 inch pieces. Then I tied them all on the wreath. I painted a spider web chippie black, sprayed it with shimmer mist, and then attached it with some fiber. I also used fiber on top to hang it.

Criss-Cross Card Style With a Bit of LBC Basic Rumple Ribbon - Mama LoveBug Style

Good Tuesday, Crafties!

Ever find a card style that has you making it over and over again?  Well, I discovered the criss-cross card and I'm having so much fun with this design.  You make this out of two 12 x 12 patterned papers and follow the directions via Youtube or Google Tutorials - use key word "criss cross card" and you should find a bunch of info.  These can be made as a vertical or a horizontal card with enough left over for a second card.

Today I'm sharing a horizontal card as a "thank you" for someone who did me a big favor.  I added several things to the basic design such as a "belly band" in the center and a small panel for my pocket image.

Recipe
*Simple Sayings "Thank You so much" from Jaded Blossom
*Punched out leaves and flowers
*La La Land Steampunk girl that I colored with watercolor pencils and a star dust gel pen for accenting
*LoveBug Creations Simply Black Rumple Ribbon Just The Basics HERE
