Anniversary Project - A Joy to Create

Hello Crafties!  It's Mama LoveBug here today to share an anniversary double-sided stand up card for my daughter and son-in-law, who celebrated their anniversary on our day - July 31!

I started out with a sweet vintage couple from Tiddly Inks.  The digital image was sized at 5" and printed out 2x - once regular and the other a horizontal reverse.  Each was fussy cut and then adhered to a lovely cardstock from Kathy Davis that I bought at JoAnn's.  This paper is to die for!  Both sides of the stand-up card were fussy cut twice so that makes a total of 4 times fussy cutting!!  A whole lot of scissor action - my Cutter Bee scissors were humming right along until the process was completed.

Next I got out my watercolor pencils and had fun coloring; after this I used different colored gel pens for highlighting and accenting.  The image was very user-friendly to add little touches of color.  I added a bit of Stickles as accents too.

Finally I made several bows for the vintage girl's dress from Love Bug Creations Rumple Ribbon - check out the collections HERE
Before I finished I added a word-sentiment from the Kathy Davis cardstock - "Joy" and a few gems and sticker flowers for texture.

Remember no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it.........cyberanniversary joy...........Mama LoveBug
