Let It Snow Blog Hop



Welcome to the Let It Snow Blog Hop!!

Grab a warm beverage and sit back to enjoy the projects today with the theme of winter and snow!  Did you trek over from Cindy?  If so you made it here, but if you got caught in a snow storm and want to start with our blog hostess, venture over to Lisa.


My first card is a criss-cross design - I used two different 12 x 12 papers - one from Crate Paper (patterned) and the other from Paper Nest (plain red sorbet); this actually was enough to make two different looking cards; it allows you to have a pocket and you can write your personal message on the back of the large tag in the pocket.

I also used the following:
*Sentiment - Happy Holidays from my stamp stash
*Punch for snowmen
*Jaded Blossom dies
*SU Snowflake framelits
*LoveBug Creation Rumple Ribbon

You can google many tutorials on how to construct this card and it can be cut either in a vertical or horizontal style - mine is horizontal.

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 12

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me

 (I'm happy to report the engagements of 7 drummers and 10 pipers to the 9 ladies dancing and the 8 maids a-milking; the other missing drummers simply got tired and took a nap!)

Five golden rings (day 5)
Four calling birds (day 4)

Recipe for Double-sided stand-up card or table decor
*Digi My World image - printed twice in horizontal flip and fussy cut; then adhered to thicker Kraft paper and fussy cut again (4 times the cutting); accented with pearl pens and Stickles
*LoveBug Creations Mama's Mesh for his hat

As promised I took a picture of the beginning stages of decorating our local library's display case for my paper crafting projects - the 12 Days of Christmas start from top left to right and go along the first three tiers.  It was a very sunny day when I took the picture, so sorry about the glare but you will get the idea.

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 11




Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop.

Hi, Crafties, Mama LoveBug here - last year I created a 12 Days of Christmas Count Down and I'm doing the same this year too.  The difference is I have a Cameo, so many of my projects will be cut with this awesome machine, but all will feature images from Digi My World's 12 Days of Christmas.  These are not huge projects, but when you collect them all together at the end, they can be used as table decor for decorating a holiday gathering, office party, or in my case a library display.  By the end of our 12 days I'm betting you'll know this song by heart!!
