Thankful Hearts and Warm Winter Wishes PPbN DT Blog Hop

Welcome to the Paper Piecings By Nikki Design Team's November Blog Hop, "Thankful Hearts and Warm Winter Wishes". We are very thankful for all the PPbN fans and appreciate the opportunity to inspire your craftiness and in turn the chance for you to inspire us.  So grab your beverage of choice and hop along today to see what goodies we've created using various pattern collections from PPbN.

If you've arrived here from DT Lindathen you are in the right spot.  If you'd like to start at the very beginning, you can swing over to  Nikki's Blog

Mama LoveBug is up first from LoveBug Creations.  I actually had a more Thanksgiving-like project prepared, but when the new collection came out this week, I was panting to get it and showcase it today.

I used one of the patterns from the new PPbN collection, Merry Christmas, Gingy Train.  Since I don't own a cutting machine, I fussy cut the train engineer gingy, highlighted the image with gel pens, and used some Stickles for good measure.  This little guy was the top piece to my triple-stamped card.  I employed Stampin Up red textured cardstock for the card base and mat layers plus Whisper White for the stamped panels.  My festive snowflake stamps were also SU products using Real Red and Gumball Green inks. The SU sentiment, Warm Winter Wishes, was achieved with Early Expresso, which I then went over with a white gel-pen for more sparkle. My last touch was some darling ribbon.........cyberhugs.......Mama LoveBug.

And now for Kimi's project...............

Hi everyone!!! For my project I ALSO wanted to use this adorable new pattern "Merry Christmas, Gingy Train"!
I made a layout....

Closer up of the PPbN pattern! Isn't it adorable???

For the photo mats I used the title that comes with this pattern and made some pattern paper!
