Welcome Crafties! Since Christmas is in my rear view mirror, it's time to think of other events or occasions for sharing Paper Piecings by Nikki collections. It's cold outside so I wanted to fashion a card with "warmer themes" like bikes and flowers - spring can't come too soon! With that in mind I decided to use a PPbN digi stamp to create a "thinking of you" card.
This is a triple-stamped card using the following items:
*SU cardstock and Kraft cardstock for card base and mats; Whisper White for stamp mats
*Bicycle, sentiment, and flower stamps from my stamp stash
*PPbN digi bear - Beary Special Digi Stamp Set
*Colored pencils, gel pen, Stickles
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon - check out our Ribbon Collections
Remember, no matter how you piece your paper or rumple your ribbon, have fun with it........Happy New Year............Mama LoveBug.

Paper Piecings by Nikki DT Offering - The Last Christmas Card
From the LoveBug Creations House (Kimi, Melissa, and Pam) to
yours, Merry Christmas!! This will
be my last PPbN posting before the big day, so I wanted to share the delightful
polar bear collection that Nikki has called Christmas Polar Bears
Since I don’t have a cutting machine I printed out the polar
bear and did this using “sepia”; then I fussy cut, gel-penned, and Stickled in
various spots. I made a
triple-stamped card using Stampin Up cardstock and Kraft paper for the
mats. SU Whisper White was cut and
the fun of stamping polar images took place. Lastly, I used some Lemonade LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon for an
accent bow. This is from our Pink Lemonade Collection
I can't make a bow to save my life so I want to put in a plug to 3Girl Jam for their Bow Maker - it's a terrific product.

Paper Piecings by Nikki DT Offering - Hang in There
Good Crafting Today. Mama LoveBug is pitch-hitting for sick Kim today and sharing a card for those who have family or friends who are suffering from the flu. Yuck, it's going around and Kim has it big time, so hopefully this will give a bit of cheer to her.
PPbN has a pattern collection called Owl Be There For You which is perfect for those cards to perk someone up. Who doesn't like owls?
I used Stampin Up cardstock to make the mats and Confetti Cream SU for the stamping part plus a stamp collection of owls for the triple-stamp card. The PPbN pattern was fussy cut - the "get well ow;" I gel-penned the images for highlight and sparkle plus I added a bit of Stickling here and there.
Finally I added a bow made with the LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon, which you can find at our online store at our LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon Store
Hope you liked my card and have been inspired to try one of your own.
Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it..........cyberhugs........Mama LoveBug.

Paper Piecings by Nikki DT Offering - A Polar Tuxedo Christmas Card
DT Pam swinging by to ask – Have you started on your crafty Christmas cards yet? Do you want to add some terrific paper piecing patterns to your arsenal of images? Look no further than the PPbN “Santa and Friends Digital Cutting File Set” found at http://www.paperpiecingsbynikki.com/santa-and-friends-digital-cutting-file-set.html
Welcome to the North Pole......
For today I employed Mr. Christmas Penguin and an Action Wobble. Making a triple-stamped card using my favorite Stampin Up paper and Kraft paper for the mats and some lovely polar stamps, I added a fussy cut penguin, that I gel-penned for highlighting. Then I added a twine bow and a button to give him a true “tuxedo look”. It was great fun. My wonderful mom (nursing home resident) was the recipient of this cutie – she loved it!
Do you want to bring a smile to someone you love? Check out lots of other Christmas patterns on the PPbN site as well for more inspiration…….remember no matter how you piece your paper, have fun with it………..cyberhugs…….Mama LoveBug!

The 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day Twelve
Welcome to the Final Day of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop. Our blog hostess Lisa is where you should begin the hop if you get lost. Hopefully you've just leaped over from Jillian
This hop has truly been a great experience - I stepped out of my comfort zone on many of these projects - some I like more than others - I bet you know the feeling!
I want to thank our blog hostess, Lisa, for putting in her time and talent to organize this event (no small task I'm sure)! I also wish to thank the other blog spot ladies who strived with each day's project to give you terrific ideas for gift giving! Kudos also to the fine sponsors of the hop and finally to you visitors - wow, what lovely comments!
When I made the decision to follow the theme of 12 Days of Christmas, I wanted to go vintage for this........I hope I provided some inspiration and enjoyment on our time together.............remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it......................cyberhugs...........Mama LoveBug!

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
12 Drummers Drumming..........Today's Project
11 Pipers Piping................see Day Eleven's triple-stamped card
10 Lords-a-Leaping......see Day Ten's gift box
9 Ladies Dancing.........see Day Nine's lollipop topper
8 Maids-a-Milking.....see Day Eight's photo book
7 Swans-a-Swimming...see Day Seven's gift box
6 Geese-a-Laying...see Day Six's gift tag
5 Gold Rings...........see Day Five's gift tag
4 Calling Birds.........see Day Four's pocket card
3 French Hens.......see Day Three's pocket card
2 Turtle Doves.........see Day Two's center step card
And a Partridge in a Pear Tree - see Day One's center step card
First of all, I want to thank Beccy's Place who has an amazing collection of free digis.
Again, to keep the vintage look of the digi, I made a Christmas book mark - I love to read and the drummer just seemed a perfect image for keeping up the pace of a book enjoyment. I fussy cut the image, used gel pens and Stickles and then constructed the book mark. On top you'll see some vintage Christmas paper but underneath I used sturdy Kraft paper to give the project some stability. I added some LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon on the top. Winter Blessings and Christmas Merriment..........
Now I'll send you to Rebecca

Make a Joyful Noise - Today's project is a triple-stamped card and I have to confess this is my favorite style of card making. The materials are from my arsenal of Stampin Up cardstock. I used several different stamps here - Christmas trees with musical notes inside and free-standing musical notes. The image was fussy cut after I outlined with gel pens and glitzed with a few Stickles. The card was finished with some Love Bug Creations Rumple Ribbon.

First of all, I want to thank Beccy's Place who has an amazing collection of free digis.
This is a gift box that I constructed with dark red cardstock (it's like a little pizza box where you can tuck a small treat inside); a 2-panel mat of green Christmas flowered paper and snowflakes is wrapped with a cross of Love Bug Creations Rumple Ribbon and the digi image is adhered to the top. Again I used colored pencils, gel pens, and Stickles to give the leaping lord some dimension.

Christmas is full of candy treats for the holidays and festive tables set for gatherings. With that in mind I made a lollipop topper for a table favor. I used a Sizzix ribbon die after I embossed some white card stock. The image was colored with pencils and glitter markers. I fussy cut the dancing lady and adhered her to the paper bow and then I topped her off with LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon. Each place setting at a Christmas table can have a treat. BTW, the sucker is my favorite - caramel apple!!
