Music Is Life Blog Hop

Welcome to the Music is Life Blog Hop

We sang our ABC's as children loud and off key!
We rocked out in our bedrooms with our friends to our favorite tunes.
We slow danced awkwardly to that memorable ballet with the boy we crushed on. We walked down the isle in to the wedding march as we married the man of our dreams. We sang a sweet lullaby to our babies as we rocked them to sleep. We sing our favorite songs as we drive the kids to school, annoying them the whole way! Yes, music is Life! It's everywhere in our lives!
Join us as we celebrate the wonderful Life of Music!!

The Lady of MUSIC!!
I know a church lady who is going to celebrate a very significant birthday later this month.  I designed a shadow box for her using one of my Julie Nutting doll stamps.  Since my friend is talented in both instrumental and vocal music, she will hopefully enjoy this token of warmest regards.

The materials that I used for this surprise are:
*Julie Nutting doll stamp - hand stamped, fussy cut, and assembled
*Music paper and card stock for the background, the handmade box, and, of course, the clothing, body/hair, and handmade flowers
*Jewels and other bling to bring some sparkle and delight
*Mama LoveBug private reserve LoveBug Creations Simply Sheer Ribbon
*A significant amount of time and effort to bring this shadow box to life

Here are some pictures of different parts of my shadow box, which has a magnet on the back of the box so it can be placed on a mirror or a refrigerator for display.

Next I finished up the project with a fancy straw and some music brads for the 4 corners.  These final pictures show you the project close up and on my display table.  I hope you liked The Music Lady!!

 Up next is HOLLI

Here is our complete line up in case you get lost along the way:
