My Core'dinations Creative Frenzy!!

Hi Everyone!!! Have you tried Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock? It is simply amazing!!! I just got a whole bunch of different stacks and am lovin' them! If you'd like to check out their products, gallery and design team Click Here! You can do so much with these papers and get different looks!! So I'd like to share with you 3 projects I've made using a couple of different stacks! I hope these projects show just how great this paper is!

My first project is an easel card I made for a friend! I used the WhiteWash Collection for this one! I cut a bunch of 1" squares out of Cellar Door (blue) and Garden Gate (Green)! I then embossed them with the Cuddlebug using the Swiss Dots and D'Vine Swirl embossing folders! I sanded over the entire square with the Sand It Gadget from Core'dinations! It brought out the bolder color! Cleaned each square off with my Dust Buddy! I would say the Dust Buddy is the BEST lil' cleaning cloth ever!  Then I ran some Picket Fence paper from the same collection through my Imagine using the Yummy Cartridge! Core'dinations paper works really well in the Imagine! Prints and cuts it with ease! Assembled the card, added some faux stitching and got to work on the lower part! For this I sanded the edges of the two colors and then stamped them with the "Hey Cupcake" sentiment from Pink by Design! Also added some DCWV rub-on cupcakes on each side!!

For my next project I made a cute little basket with strawberry boxes! For this project all the papers came from the Glitz and Glam Collection! Oh my goodness! One of my favorites! It has all different colors of glitter paper along with matching pearlesent paper! Love it! :) I found this great tutorial on making the strawberry boxes here! They are really easy to make and this paper just makes them pop! I filled each one with Hershey Kisses to give as a treat to someone special! For the basket I used the Cricut Easter 2010 cartridge and changed it a little bit using the Gypsy! The Flower on front was a Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix die! And the adorable stamps are a mix of 2 sets from KinderStampo! Super fun and easy project!!

For my last project I made a card for spring....using some very unlike spring colors! I love the way white, black and red look together and I already had a lot of pastel colors for my other projects! For this one I used the ripping technique! Love how awesome Core'dinations paper looks when ripped! I used some more glitter paper from the Glitz and Glam stack as well as some Starry Night paper from the Vintage Collection! Since you can't sand the glitter paper once it was ripped I inked the edges and just LOVE the way that looked! Tore some Starry Night and stamped on it using another Pink by Design stamp and heat embossed it! Tossed on a matching ribbon, paper flowers and bling and it's good to go! Easily my favorite of all the projects I made! :)

I truly hope you have enjoyed these projects and they've inspired you! If nothing else I hope it makes you want to try out this wonderful paper for yourself! You'll be amazed at how much fun you'll have with it! :)

Thanks for stopping by and please let me know what you think! :)

All of these are fantastic, Kimi! You did a great job on them. I love Core'dinations too... in fact you'll find that I use it on nearly all of my cards and mini albums. It just cuts so nicely and comes in so many wonderful color collections. Have you tried the pearl-finish cardstock yet? Wonderful stuff! TFS!
