Good Thursday to the Crafties!
Today I'm sharing a vertical criss-cross card (actually two of them with some differences). On Tuesday I discussed this card style and shared a horizontal card. By turning your paper but still using the same technique one can have the criss-cross as a vertical design using two different 12 x 12 patterned papers and swapping out the patterns - this is especially delightful when you have gorgeous paper like the Kathy Davis collections! Also it's fun to add the belly band of contrasting paper and the pocket insert - use your imagination for endless possibilities with this style and write your own message on the back of the insert.
As you can see I made two different but similar criss-cross cards using the theme of Congratulations - a wedding, anniversary, new baby, new job, retirement, birthday, etc!
Recipe for this Congratulations
*Kathy Davis cardstock
*Jaded Blossom tag dies and sentiment
*butterfly and flower punches - EK
*dry gold embossed cakes - stamp from my stash
*Dew Drops, pearls, and Stickles
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon - Augusta from the Family Ties Oh Cecelia collection HERE
Remember no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it.........cybercongrats..........Mama LoveBug
