Halloween cards are lots of fun to create and deliver to those special witches in your life!  I decided to use my Cameo to cut two basic card shapes and pull together some fun "witchy" stamps and other embellies to inspire you to design a card for someone you cherish.
Remember the key to cards (from my POV) is using some interesting elements starting with the paper.  The paper I grabbed was from a Halloween pack I found at JoAnn's. It was just the right thickness to easily cut with the Cameo and sturdy enough to efficiently stand up for display.
After all isn't the whole point to our paper crafting the joy of having one's cards on display (not tucked in a drawer)? Here's a few of my efforts:

The focal point on this side step card is a Dyan Reaveley stamp with some handmade embellies like the flower, the witchy hat, twine, Stickles, and LoveBug Creations Halloween Grunge ribbon.

A blog hop card fest wouldn't be complete for me without using a Julie Nutting paper doll stamp plus some more embellies for this easel center step card.

I am in love with the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds stamp set and had to incorporate a crazy bird witch for this side step card.  Tim Holtz also has another set called Crazy Little Things (witch hat, pumpkin, broom) that can also be stamped for projects.  The skull is a Dyan Reaveley stamp.

My last sample is for a special little witch - kids love owls so this easel center step card focuses on the little witch and her owl friends.  This stamp set was cheap but engaging. Tie a piece of rumple ribbon around the center and add a cute sentiment for some Halloween fun!

 Up next is CHRISTINA

Sweet Booing to You - Mama LoveBug Style

Spooky this and scary that to you, Crafties!  It's only two more days until Halloween so have you been busy creating some treasures for your little ones?  Sometimes it's better to err on the side of sweetness for a Halloween surprise rather than the more gruesome styles, especially for tender tinies!  With that in mind I'm sharing a simple table decoration for a children's party that won't frighten but hopefully will delight young eyes!

My digi image is from Jessica Weible Illustrations and I added some extra embellies for sweet booing:
*gel pen for accenting
*Halloween stickers for dimples and sentiment
*Goosebumps Shimmer Spray
*LoveBug Creations Halloween Grunge Rumple Ribbon HERE

Don't forget to mark November 2 (this Saturday) on your crafty calendar - LBC will be revealing some more great rumple products and a few surprises in our Have a Meshy Rumple Christmas Hop...........remember no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it..........cyberbooing.........Mama LoveBug

Halloween's Almost Upon Us - LBC Halloween Grunge

Yes, Halloween's in 11 days - the time has come for me to get on my witch's broom and make some spirited cards for my little goblins and ghosties.
Good Sunday to you crafties.  It's Mama LoveBug here with two of my Halloween criss-cross cards.

Before I share these I'd like to tell you how sad I am to report what I heard on a recent visit to JoAnn's.  I absolutely love the Kathy Davis collection and I thought I'd take advantage of a coupon to get another paper stack. While I definitely got my KD fix, I noticed the entire collection which included a vast array of extras - buttons, brads, borders, mini-clips, etc was on 50% clearance.  Yay, I thought. This is super, so I stocked up.  When I went to the checkout I casually mentioned that I'm a fan and wondered when the next collection would be in the store.  The gal said that JoAnn's is discontinuing its line of Kathy Davis products.  The next day my daughter went to the same store and saw the KD products were up to 70% off.  It never fails - I find a super product and then it goes away!! That's my lament!

Oh well, here's what I designed today - 2 pieces of 12 x 12 paper did the trick on the swap out of paper - 2 cards that are similar yet different with contrasting colored Halloween Grunge found HERE

Recipe
*Halloween DCWV paper - super nice weight for this card style
*Jaded Blossom tag dies
*Butterfly Punch - EK
*LoveBug Creations Halloween Grunge

Friday Fun With Kathy, Stephanie & Katie!!!! ♥

YAY FOR FRIDAY!!!!
I suggest you find a comfy spot
as our 3 CT Members -
Kathy, Stephanie and Katie
have some amazing projects to share with you all!!

Happy Friday Crafty Friends!

Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and I'd like to share with you my card that I made for Day 1 of the Simply Betty Stamps 13 Days of Halloween.

I used a little "Simply Black" Rumple Ribbon and tied a pretty bow to accent my sentiment.  I love how even just a little bit of Rumple Ribbon can add so much!

Stop by my blog for more pics and details.

Hi everyone! Welcome to another Friday at Lovebug Creations! It's Stephanie here to share with you my weekly project.
While I was on a card-making roll there for awhile, I got a bit burned out. I wanted to try something new this week. I altered a paper bucket that my kids brought home from a local arcade. (It was used to hold their tickets.)
My kids have a knack for "collecting" all kinds of small junk! I thought his would be the perfect catchall for just that!
I used the light brown rumple ribbon from the Beary Brown On the Edge collection.
You can see more about this project on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share with you today!
Have a great weekend!

Those boy cards are so hard, aren't they??  I little of Mama's Mesh, manly stripes, a touch of burlap and a 'stache helped to make sure that special guy in my life is getting a card just for him.
I would love it you had the time to stop by my blog.

It was a picture frame - I removed the back and the glass, painted it, and attached a board to the back so it can stand up right. I used Simply White ribbon for the bars to hang the earrings. I also used the simply white ribbon along with Purple-dise ribbon to make a little flower to decorate the display.

Flying Retro Girl - Semi-Simple Witchy Fun With Halloween Grunge

Good Crafting, Every-buggy!  Center Step, Cameo, Retro, and Grunge!

It's Mama LoveBug posting today with another Cameo-inspired card cut and image.  The Cameo store has a super SVG cut for "center step" cards and a really cute "flying retro girl" image created by Sarah Bailey as well.  I combined them with some terrific Halloween Grunge Rumple Ribbon from LoveBug Creations HERE

So what do I have?? - a fun card for Halloween or really any time when you want somebody's attention!  I used some sturdy Halloween Kraft paper I got at Wal-Mart.  Sometimes you need a quick and easy card to share!!

Add in a sticker ghost and a stick pin with a cute sentiment - Creep On Over - and you've got a sweet card - nothing super fancy but the LBC Rumple Ribbon just gives the card an extra-pop factor to make something extraordinarily unique!

LoveBug Creations is hosting it's first challenge, so slip over to our posting about this HERE

Remember, no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it.........cyber-retro fun.........Mama LoveBug

LBC "Something Wicked This Way Comes" New Release & Blog Hop ♥

Welcome to the Something Wicked This Way Comes LBC New Release and Blog Hop!!   Prepare to be scared out of your PJ’s and rush to your crafty zones for comfort as you check out the amazing “wicked” projects that the LoveBug Creations CT has designed for the enjoyment of Halloween!

First LBC wants to thank CT Connie for creating the Wicked Blog Hop Button. It’s witches and pumpkins and things that go bump in the night featured here and to celebrate the treat giving event, LBC wants to share some new products with our crafty pals. Visit our online store HERE

Sneak Peek
Some of our designers will be showing off some of the NEW Mama's Mesh colors that will be hitting the store soon so keep your eyes peeled for them!!!
The Wicked Release

First we have some eye-popping solid Rumple Ribbon in three new yummy colors – Purple People Eater, Harvest Moon, and Monster Skin; these colors also have a Mardi Gras palette too, so grab them quickly before they disappear into the night of fright!
Say hello to the "Fright Night" Collection

And for the fun of “something wicked” we’re unveiling a limited collection of Rumple Ribbon called “Halloween Grunge”; there are six colors of vintage blends to give your projects the perfect Wicked Factor.  Only a select number of these have been created so when they’re gone, they’re gone! All six colors are included in this special collection.

A Wicked Deal
For the duration of the hop (September 7-8) there will be a freebie with purchase
1. Spend $15 before shipping and you will receive 2 free yards of White edged with Black Rumple Ribbon!

2. Spend $25 before shipping and you will receive 2 free yards each of White edged with Black Rumple Ribbon, Black Edged with White, and Red Edged With Black Rumple Ribbon!!!

The Wicked Projects
Mama LoveBug is up first - who wants to have a "wicked party"?? With this idea in mind I designed 2 double-sided stand-up cards (table decor), 5 treat bags, and 3 pumpkins (conversation pieces)!
The table creatures are from Digi My World and Stinkin Cute with some embellies; the treat bags are Cameo created plus gold embossing of Halloween stamps, sentiments, and Jaded Blossom die cuts; the pumpkins are something I saw in a magazine and tweeked the instructions a bit.  Of course, each element in this party set has a generous dollop of LoveBug Creations new rumple ribbons - Fright Night and Halloween Grunge.

Hi Every-Buggy!!!!
Kimi here with my project for the hop!!!
I have recently fallen in love with Mason Jars and decided to decorate another one!! I painted this one white first and then sprayed over that with black spray paint! After it was dry I added some Rumple Ribbon from the **NEW** Halloween Grunge Collection around the top! I wanted the ruffled look and I think this turned out exactly how I wanted!
Isn't this new ribbon AWESOME???? I love it!!! (and yes I can say this and am not totally biased as Mama Lovebug is the one making the "Halloween Grunge" Collection!)

Lastly I knew I would need something to put in it and I figured it would make a perfect vase...So I found a file in the Silhouette store and went to work making flowers to match! The greenery I purchased at my local dollar store!!

I hope you enjoyed the project!!! Thank you SO MUCH for hopping with us today!! ♥
