Starring...
Mama's Mesh!!

Use dies to cut fun shapes out of
This color...soon to be released...

Makes a great statement on a card!

See that wonderful texture under the bow of this Christmas card made by CardMonkey (Ellen) for posting today?  Ellen layered two pieces of Mama's Mesh -- one in a lipstick red and the other in a seafoam green.

Now don't go looking for these colors in the Lovebug Creations online store -- they're home-colored!  Yes, the Mesh is SO versatile that you can color it up in any alcohol-based markers (Ellen used Copics) to match your card.

Ellen said: "I started with Mama's Mesh in white, cutting the pieces I wanted to color to size. I put a piece of scratch paper underneath the Mesh, and then, using the wide end of the Copic, I colored in circles over the mesh until the color was saturated."

Ellen also shows us on her blog (http://cardmonkeyspaperjungle.com) where she derived her inspiration for this card.

"Magazines are my favorite source of inspiration," Ellen said. "And I'm disappointed that two of the industry's leaders are shutting down their hard-copy of their magazines."

Read more details on Ellen's blog, today.

Stephanie, Katie and Kathy WOW us ♥

Good Morning, Every-Buggy!!!
Happy Friday!!!
3 amazingly talented ladies taking over the blog today!!!!
So sit back and enjoy the projects!
Don't forget to leave them all some love!! ♥

Hey friends! I hope you are all enjoying a beautiful Fall day in your neck of the woods. It's absolutely gorgeous here!
Today I have (another) birthday card to share. This one was created for my niece who will be 17 on Monday! It was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.
I used Simply White rumple ribbon to tie together the "candles". You can see more about this card on my blog.
Thanks for letting me share with you today!

I made a super girly card topped off by the beautiful Butter Cream Rumple Ribbon.  I was going for that Pretty Vintage look and Lovebug ribbons really fit that mold.

I cut the DCWV paper for this card to really highlight the paper.  I then distressed and crumpled and layered on pretty embellies.  If you would like some more details on this card, please check my blog for details.

Happy Friday Lovebug Friends!

Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I'd like to share with you my project for the new challenge that is going on in the Lovebug Lounge.

I made a 3D Cauldron filled with treats, and used a little "Halloween Grunge" Rumple Ribbon on it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Flying Retro Girl - Semi-Simple Witchy Fun With Halloween Grunge

Good Crafting, Every-buggy!  Center Step, Cameo, Retro, and Grunge!

It's Mama LoveBug posting today with another Cameo-inspired card cut and image.  The Cameo store has a super SVG cut for "center step" cards and a really cute "flying retro girl" image created by Sarah Bailey as well.  I combined them with some terrific Halloween Grunge Rumple Ribbon from LoveBug Creations HERE

So what do I have?? - a fun card for Halloween or really any time when you want somebody's attention!  I used some sturdy Halloween Kraft paper I got at Wal-Mart.  Sometimes you need a quick and easy card to share!!

Add in a sticker ghost and a stick pin with a cute sentiment - Creep On Over - and you've got a sweet card - nothing super fancy but the LBC Rumple Ribbon just gives the card an extra-pop factor to make something extraordinarily unique!

LoveBug Creations is hosting it's first challenge, so slip over to our posting about this HERE

Remember, no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it.........cyber-retro fun.........Mama LoveBug

Monday's Are Fabulous w/ Ellen, Connie and Dawn Mercedes!!! ♥

It's Monday and you know what that means...
time to sit back and be inspired by
Ellen, Connie and Dawn Mercedes!!!

First up is Ellen
Ellen (CardMonkey) has blogged before about how she likes to take cards that are part of a pre-designed kit, and make them special.  Today, she shows another that she's dressed up with Lovebug Creations' Rumple Ribbon.

"As was once said in an advertisement, things go better with ...." ... Rumple Ribbons, Ellen says in her post. Go to her blog to read more about stimulating your mojo with kits, and also about a fun and unique CardMonkey CardStock Club she's founded.

The sunflower Rumple Ribbon makes this card, don't you think?  Everything else is kit-designed from Jillibean Soup's Card Kitchen, using papers this month from Jenni Bowlin Studio.

Next up: Connie

Get Steppin' - Mama LoveBug Style With Two Types of Embossing

Good Rumpling to You.
It's Mama LoveBug with a center step card to share today.  Since I have a Cameo, I've been experimenting with different card styles that can be easily cut out with this machine.  The card is a Silhouette Cameo Center Step file using two types of embossing - dry and wet.

Recipe
*SVG cut center step card - cut twice with different shades of green and then center, side, and bottom panels switched out with the lighter green; center mats run through Sizzix with woodsy embossing folder (dry embossing)
*Sherri Baldy digital image colored with watercolor pencils and glitter pens; fussy cut
*Gold wet embossing for bat and sentiment
*LoveBug Creations Mama's Mesh and Halloween Grunge Rumple Ribbon for side steps - step over HERE

Remember, no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it.........cybersteppin'........Mama LoveBug

Ellen, Dawn Mercedes, and Connie, Crafting Trifecta!

Boo!

It's Monday Mama's Mesh Madness over on the CardMonkey Paper Jungle, so hop on over to learn more of the particulars on this enchanting Halloween card.

Ellen (our resident CardMonkey) made this Halloween card using a file she modified from the Silhouette Online store.

She let Mama Mesh in orange and fluorescent green (available soon!) peek out from behind the fussy cut images from Bo Bunny.

Dawn Mercedes says a little tad of LBC Rumple Ribbon will give delight!

Just a touch of Rumple Ribbon can go along way.
Here I used Mae from the Family Ties Collection along with some acrylic brads.
This set of ribbons have gorgeous fall-like colors.
Gather it up while you can!

See you soon over at my blog, Sunnyside Up!

All About Babies Blog Hop

Welcome to the “All About Babies” Blog Hop! So glad you can join us!

If you are coming from SARAH, then you are in the right spot. If you just happened to stumble upon my site or you're reading this via e-mail, please start at MIRANDA'S BLOG so you don’t miss anyone’s amazing projects!

We will be showcasing anything BABY projects! In addition to seeing some awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too!  Miranda will be giving away a Michael's or Joann's gift card.  Winner's choice!  To be eligible to win the blog candy, you must leave a comment on each stop in the hop telling us what is your favorite summer time activity!  Be sure to leave a comment on each stop because the winner can be chosen from any of the participants blogs!

Mama LoveBug here - For my projects today, I created several onesie cards for a bumper crop of sweet babies.  I used an SVG file from the Silhouette store and cut out several for this hop using my Cameo.  I started out with some traditional "sewing" papers - blue and shades of pink.  For the pinks I switched out cut pieces for the trimming and left them plain for my baby stash; for the blue I switched over the other side of the cuts to use the plain white.  I also took a picture of the back side of one to give you an idea of what that looks like.

Ok, so next I thought about all the October babies in my own family and I decided to get a bit "Halloweeny" inspired; I used the same SVG cut, and switched out the trimming pieces from two DCWV patterned papers.  Then I crafted a tag with a Jaded Blossom die, some stamps from an old baby set, glitter pens for accent, and some of the newly-released LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon in the Halloween Grunge collection Specialty Rumple Ribbon

The possibilities are endless with the Cameo onesies to fit any season or holiday!  When the stork says, "it's time" - you want to be ready! Hope you enjoyed my "Sweet Baby" cards!
Remember no matter how you rumple your ribbon and piece your paper, have fun with it.........cyberbaby shower...........Mama LoveBug
