Fun Lil Notepad w/ Dawn Mercedes ♥

Do you have a sweet neice?
I sure do!
Lately, this 4 year old with Skype with me...for an hour (or two) at a time.
Usually, it's sort of show and tell...or story telling...or questions.
I have learned more about her likes and personality as she lives in FL and I am in MI.
You just gotta love, love, love technology...

So, after a long conversation yesterday, here is what I learned...
Lily Loves blue and pink.
She likes Zebras.
She is a crafter.
She is organized.
She loves envelopes.

So...
Here is what I created for her.
A medium sized note pad...pink and blue and zebra striped.
She can doodle, write letters, use it to take food orders,
cut, stick, fold...you name it.
Paper can do anything!!

Here I used Panther Pink Rumple Ribbon, along with retired Zebra printed Fun Footz
to embellish this peronalized notepad.

So now, the next time Lily calls me on Skype, I will have sometihng to show...
and then mail her!

Connie's Cute Canister ♥

Hello Lovebugs!!

here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!

I love vinyl and am always looking for new things to decorate. My kids love to give Tucker treats, however they are really bad at closing the seal on the bag so the treats become stale. It's a huge bummer! Until now! I found this container and the treats fill it up. It's so cute too because Tucker knows they are in there.
I added some personalization in vinyl to this container and couldn't help adding some LoveBug Creations Camo Fun Footz Rumple Ribbon. You can't get the Fun Footz anymore but there are a ton of fabulous colors to choose from that would look amazing on this project as well.

Please stop by my blog to read more details and see more pics of this and other projects using LBC products. Become my follower, join in my monthly challenges or just come hang out at

Let Stephanie & Katie INSPIRE you ♥

Hey friends! It's Stephanie here today to share a project I made for my daughter, Leah.
She had her fifth grade play last week at school & the final performance was Friday night. Her dad and I both gave her flowers after the play was over. I made this star wand to accompany them in the vase.

I was super excited by the way it turned out! I added some "Fun Footz" ribbons (that are now retired) in the zebra & giraffe print  to the back of the star. My bow is made with "Kisses" simply sheer ribbon from the "Loves Me...Loves Me Knot" collection, and rumple ribbon in "Rosebud".
You can read more about this project on my blog.
Thanks so much for letting me share with you! Get out there & shine!

People seem to always ask... what is your inspiration... Sadly, it is new product!  I ordered a big (BIG!) box of Paper Trey Ink Stamps and I just LOVE this pretty little butterfly that also has a matching die. I wanted to use it so I went to Pinterest and found a sketch with an image about the same size. This one didn't have measurements, so I eyeballed it - I just love how the papers coordinate and that Caddy Blue Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations is a perfect match!

Hello fellow lovebugs!!
Connie Can Crop here with a project I can't wait to share!!

A few years ago I purchased this wooden cross from Michael's with the intent of altering it to go in my office. I have a cross in every room of my house and so my office/crop room should be no different. I spray painted it brown and never touched it again.

That is until this week!!

Of course I added all three patterns of Wild Thang Fun Footz Rumple Ribbon to the cross.
I just love what it adds!! If you have seen my office, you know my theme is Wild (Safari).
So how perfect is this?

Please stop by my blog to read more details and see more pics of this cross and other projects using LBC products. Become my follower, join in my monthly challenges or just come hang out at

Friday Fun with Katie, Stephanie & Kathy ♥

Happy Friday!!!!
Grab a drink and be prepared to be inspired!!!

First up is Katie
A couple of my girl friends had birthdays this week and we threw a HUGE party to celebrate!  We all came together over book club and I am so happy to know these ladies.  I wanted to make something special to really capture the last year we had together, all the dinners, drinks, books and laughs.
So, I decided an exploding box mini would be just the way to do that.
Of course, my new favorite ribbon was the star!!
On the lid here, I used Chevron Junkie behind my paper flowers.  The blue and yellow matched this My Mind's Eye paper collection perfectly.
Inside, I really liked that the rumple ribbon didn't add too much volume because that is so important in this kind of mini.  I tied a little piece of Simple White in a twine bow.  It added a nice texture and feminine look I think.
I am just loving being a part of this Creative Team - please take a minute and see some of what others are also working on!!  Come on over to my blog for the video Crafty Khandy

Hey y'all!
September is a crazy busy month in our house for birthdays! My 2 nieces & my sister, plus countless friends, all have September birthdays. So it should be no shock that I made another birthday card today!! This one is for my sister who celebrated her special day yesterday:

(And no, she's not 31 but I'm sure she wishes she was!) I used Lovebug Creations' rumple ribbon in Pink Clouds here.
You can read more about this card on my blog.
Have a fantabulous day everyone!!

Happy Friday the 13th Lovebug Friends!

I'm not a huge fan of scary movies, but because it's Friday the 13th, I thought I'd share this Jason card with you.

Supplies:
Jason is a svg from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons
sentiment is from Jaded Blossom "Too Cute to Spook" stamp set
and the Rumple Ribbon is "Crazy Coral"

Thanks for stopping by!

Hope you had a great time on our blog today! Don't forget to leave some love and visit the designers blogs by clicking their names!!!

As you read this, I'm not home. I'm attending a genealogy conference this week in Ft Wayne, Indiana and I know it's going to be fun crazy!!

I love to read and I belong to a reading group through our local library.  I also have a Cameo, which I'm learning how to design and cut with, so for this hop I decided to make two bookmarks for the Walk On The Wild Side theme.  I checked out the print and cuts at the Cameo store and found this zebra - now I have lots of zebra images, but this is the first one I've seen with both a front and back zebra.  So I elongated both sides to make the images an appropriate length and width for a bookmark.
I cut out each zebra side twice with mirror image to make a front and back for each bookmark.

Recipe:
*Print and Cut Zebra Front and Back from the Cameo Store
*Gel pens for highlighting and glitz
*Computer generated sentiments - Wild Thang Reading Zone, Do Not Disturb and I'm Behind In My Reading
*LoveBug Creations Fun Footz - Wild Thang Collection HERE

Fun In The Sun Blog Hop

Welcome to the Fun In The Sun Blog Hop. If you strolled on the beach from LORI you are on the right path, but if you want to start at the beginning of the beach spots, surf over to our blog hostess, MIRANDA

Scrapping for Less is sponsoring a wonderful prize. A prize of your choosing. Scrapping for Less is a Facebook Scrapbook retail store where Teresa Russell sells scrapbook supplies...hot, trendy, current, and brand new to the market supplies at less than retail costs. It is basically a retail/pre-order group where you commit to ordering what is offered up for sale and then invoices are sent just a couple days before the stated order date. There are also typically current "items in stock" available for purchase also. Scrapping for Less is offering a $20 credit to the winner of the hop. You must comment on each stop in order to be eligible to win the credit. More info on this is at Miranda's beach front!

Fun In The Sun resonated the idea of outdoors, family/friends, reading, and food.  I don't live near a beach, but that doesn't mean I couldn't arrange a set-up for an outdoor barbeque with reading pals!  With that idea I designed several projects - one for my reading friends and one for a table decor.

Book Mark for Reading Pals - I love to read and do a lot of this each day - out on our covered front porch I can enjoy my past time no matter what the weather is like - sunny or rainy - it doesn't matter - time to curl up with a good book that will engage and entertain..........so here's a fun bookmark I made.
Recipe
*Specialty cardstock from our local craft store
*Kraft cardstock for the bookmark base
*SVG Cutting Files Kawaii Summer Clothing flip flops - the top one is adhered right onto the cardstock and the bottom is adhered on a dimensional to give texture; gel pens for accent - HERE
*Computer-generated sentiment - Do Not Disturb - WCPL Reading Zone (Williams County Public Library)
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon for a finishing touch bow - HERE

Table Decor for a Fun In The Sun Barbeque - I love whimsical projects so this little gal caught my eye and I knew I had to use her somehow in this hop. She's definitely a conversation piece.

Recipe
*Digital image from Paper Shelter - printed, fussy cut, gel-pens for accent, as well as Stickles - HERE
*She was cut out twice - one regular image and the other a horizontal reverse; I fussy cut these and then adhered each side to sturdy Kraft cardstock, which had to be fussy cut as well - that makes 4 cuttings to be adhered together to make a double-sided stand-up card or table favor.  Of course the fun comes with the gel pens and the Stickles!
*LoveBug Creations Fun Footz chevron bow for her hair - HERE
