Hey Lovebug friends! Stephanie here on this fabulous Wednesday.

I want to share with you some more "thank you" notes that I recently made.  

I am the worst at getting them out to people! These are for friends & they are just a few weeks late!!

For the first card, I used the beautiful Rosebud rumple ribbon from the "Spring Rainbow" collection. On my second card, I used a sheer ribbon in Crushed  from the "Loves Me...Love Me Knot" collection! I made a flower with the ribbon & adorned it with a Beautiful Bloom in the center.

It is with a very heavy heart I make my final post for Love Bug Creations.  I have so appreciated being a part of this creative team.  I have learned so much from each and every fellow member.  Kim and Pam run this company like true professionals - and that is a lovely gift in the craft world.  I am so grateful for all they have done to promote me and my brand.

I wish I had the time to give them and their amazing product the attention it deserves but I am not going to pursue another term.  I will miss you all!!!

OK - enough sniffling... on to the post...  I am giving you a twofer this week.  Same great stamp from  Paper Trey Ink, but one card with Simply Black Rumple Ribbon and the other with Mama's Mesh.  I really like how the mesh repeats that 'giraffe feel'

Hey friends! It's Stephanie here today to share a project I made for my daughter, Leah.
She had her fifth grade play last week at school & the final performance was Friday night. Her dad and I both gave her flowers after the play was over. I made this star wand to accompany them in the vase.

I was super excited by the way it turned out! I added some "Fun Footz" ribbons (that are now retired) in the zebra & giraffe print  to the back of the star. My bow is made with "Kisses" simply sheer ribbon from the "Loves Me...Loves Me Knot" collection, and rumple ribbon in "Rosebud".

People seem to always ask... what is your inspiration... Sadly, it is new product!  I ordered a big (BIG!) box of Paper Trey Ink Stamps and I just LOVE this pretty little butterfly that also has a matching die. I wanted to use it so I went to Pinterest and found a sketch with an image about the same size. This one didn't have measurements, so I eyeballed it - I just love how the papers coordinate and that Caddy Blue Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations is a perfect match!

Rainbow Birthday Card by Kimi ♥

 

Hello Every-Buggy!!! It's Kimi (I know...How odd I've made 2 cards in a week!) again!!! My oldest daughter's best friend celebrated her birthday yesterday and I wanted to make her a card! Gave me a good excuse to actually craft ;)

 

My daughter told me she likes rainbows and I had just seen SVG Cutting Files had come out with a Rainbow Stitch Up! Now when I went to her store to purchase I noticed the write up about this said that it was a "great way to use your twine or floss". Ok...Being the Rumple Ribbon Queen I had to try it...I wasn't sure I'd be able to do it but..... I LOVE how it turned out! SO...Let it be known...Rumple Ribbon is a great product to use on the stitch up files too!!! :)

 

Rumple Ribbon Colors used - Rosebud, Sunset, Lemonade, Olive You, Simply Blue & a sneak peek of a new shade of purple :)

 

I also used some of my favorite Jaded Blossom products: Simple Sayings (the Happy Birthday) & their new Spring Dies (for the grass)

 

Heidi Grace papers and epoxy embellishments along with some pop dots finished this sweet birthday card off!!! I hope you enjoy this and that maybe it will inspire you to try something different!!!

Dawn Rene here with you to share a bookmark I made for my daughter's 12th birthday.

I used Lovebug Creations' Sunflower for the ruffle on the dress and for the bling on the top of the book marker. I also added some Rosebud to the top as well. I paper pierced the dress and colored the skin and hair with Copic markers!

Happy Monday!  Dawn Rene here sharing a tag I made with rumpled ribbon from Lovebug Creations. On Pinterest I saw a tag someone had made that was upside down - loved the idea - so I thought I would give it a try.

The rumpled ribbon decorates the top and bottom of the card. I used the colors: Spice Autumn, Sunflower, Rosebud, and Green Leave which you can buy here.

Stephanie's Thinking of You & Mama LoveBug's First "Cameo" Project - A Slider Card

Hey everyone! It's Stephanie here again to share a card I made using rumple ribbon and cardstock from The Robin's Nest.

AND NOW FOR MAMA'S PROJECT!!!

Butterfly Kisses to You Today.  With so many birthdays cropping up I decided to share a birthday card I made with my new Cameo…….yes, I’ve joined the Cameo love-fest with such a vast array of possibilities for crafty fun.  This was my first card and I picked a style way out of my comfort zone for this – a slider card.  My mom's b-day is in a few weeks and since she lives in a nursing home, I wanted to design something that could be hung for her enjoyment.

Now you can see the intricate cut on the outside of the slider, which has sort of a bellyband with a cut out in the center.  I used a stamp from my stash, which says Butterfly Kisses and Birthday Wishes.  I used some other products to decorate this very dainty card:

*The Robin’s Nest Dew Drops and The Robin's Nest Sorbet collection in pink for the butterfly HERE

*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon for the triple bow, the bottom bow, and top tail – I thought this could be used as a doorknob hanging or on a wall or bulletin board HERE

Ellen's Thankful 4 You ♥

 

For this cheery friendship card, Ellen ♥ CardMonkey used a splash of vibrant Rosebud Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations for the border to hold the simple butterfly cut and to draw the eye down and into the card.

Ellen used papers, stickers and a button from Jillibean Soup and My Mind's Eye. The butterfly was cut using a die from Cheery Lynn; the gems are from Close To My Heart.

 

 

 

 

Dawn Rene's Amazing Easter Mini Album!!!

Happy Monday! Dawn Rene here today to share with you a mini bag album that I made for my daughter for Easter. I used four white treat bags that I bought at Party City, folded them in half, and glue them together. It creates 4 pages (eight sides) and pockets for four tags.

I tied Caddy Blue "On The Edge" Rumple Ribbon around the album to close it. I attached loops of Caddy Blue "On The Edge" and Rosebud "On The Edge" Rumple Ribbon to the end of the tags. Ellen's Easter Basket

Ellen (CardMonkey) here with yet another way to use your Rumple Ribbons ...

Here, I took an Easter basket die cut and wove the new delicious color called Rosebud through the upper edge of the basket. As Goldilocks might say, Rumple Ribbons are "just right" ... soft enough that they didn't tear my diecut as I thread it through the paper cuts, and firm enough to hold the pretty bow on the left.
