Welcome to the Just Chillin' Blog Hop - if you bounced over from Jenny, then you're on the right iceberg, but if you swam upon this and want to start with our blog hostess, join in with Connie
Penguins Unite!
It's me, Pandora Penguin, and I'm here to say hi. I'm all decked out in my finery - I'm wearing my LBC Mama's Mesh stole and dazzling pin; I've chosen a 3-D flower with LBC Simply Sheer Ribbon and some twine and I've even got a gift bag for the event - So Let's Party!!
I'm sharing in some Just Chillin' Mojo Magic today as our theme is all about me and my kind.
We have a great sponsor for our hop - Creative Cuts with a $10 gift certificate - you need to fan each spot and leave a comment and then let our blog hostess, Connie, know you followed the rules!

So do you know much about penguins? Let's see:
*We are aquatic, flightless birds that are highly adapted to life in the water.
*Our distinct tuxedo-like appearance is called countershading, a form of camouflage that helps keep us safe in the water.
*We do have wing-bones, though they are flipper-like and are extremely suited to swimming. We are the fastest swimming and deepest diving species of any birds.
*We are found almost exclusively in the southern hemisphere, where we catch our food underwater and raise our young on land. BTW, we do NOT live at the North Pole.
*In general, penguins closer to the Equator eat more fish and penguins closer to Antarctica eat more squid and krill (yummy)!
*My lifespan is 15 to 20 years.
*The smallest of us is the blue penguin also known as the fairy penguin (16 inches tall) and the largest is the emperor penguin (3 ½ feet tall).
*We are social birds. Many species feed, swim and nest in groups.
*I don’t jump – I bounce!
*Two-thirds of us are at risk, with five species officially considered endangered. Please be kind to us!!
Seriously, Mama LoveBug here for this National Awareness of Penguins! My project today is a Let's Just Chill party invitation card with two penguins from a Peachy Keen die I had, a Cameo-cut center step card using some fun Kathy Davis paper in various layers, and I used some of that paper for the penguins' hats. The center is a 3-D flower from Lori Whitlock and the center of that is LBC Rumple Ribbon.
