be amazed at all the creativity today in celebration of Dr. Seuss.
Why Fit In When
You Were Born To Stand Out is really a dynamic statement that
prompted me to make three double-sided stand up Dr. Seuss-like characters,
which can be given as cards, arranged as a table decoration for a party, or nestled
at a work station or desk. Let’s
face it - we all need uplifting from time to time.
Here's the set of three.
Kitty in a HatThing 1
Thing 2
Side view of Kitty in a Hat
Recipe for project
*Special Dr. Seuss paper from a local craft store – traced
and cut for special piecings
*American Craft White paper for insides of each stand up
character
*PPbN jpeg images from collection called Kitten in a Hat
– printed out 2x in both horizontal directions per character (Kitty, Thing 1,
and Thing 2)
*LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon for double-bow ties - ribbon at our LBC online store
*Gel pen for highlighting the features of each character
*A whole lot of fussy cutting and adhering with double-sided
tape at the top of each character
1. Become a fan of our LoveBug Creations blog (if not already)
2. Leave me a love note and a way to contact you - winner announced on Monday, March 4
Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it.......cyberhugs.......Mama LoveBug
Now, let's hop over to see what's shakin' with Melissa
