Happy Crafting Time, Everyone!
At Paper Piecings by Nikki there is a new look!
is brimming over with goodies for all occasions. She has such unique patterns and some
room needs to be made for new gems, so here’s the scoop. PPbN has a few pattern collections that
are slated for RETIREMENT – won’t be there forever, so get ‘em while the
getting’s good.
To that end I decided to make a perpetual calendar using
several of her patterns.
A red solo cup
A Christmas tree
Gingerbread characters – Baking Memories
Here’s my project using PPbN patterns:
I lined the calendar first with a mat of
Kraft paper and then another layer of gingerbread paper. I fussy cut out my characters and assembled them using gel
pens for highlights, Christmas brads, snowflake punch, and some ribbon. My sentiment was computer generated.
Hope you are getting into the spirit of gift giving – this would be a terrific
one for a family member, friend, teacher, etc!!
