For my projects - I made a table favor and a grillin card.

Table Favor
*Printed art from Trina Clark (ants, hot dogs, and fixings) - fussy cut 2x for front and back and highlighted with gel pens
*LoveBug Creations Fun Footz (a patterned ribbon collection) - if you look closely you'll see I punched holes in the mustard and ketchup and threaded some LBC Rumple Ribbon too - LBC Online Store
*Die cut using Kraft paper for the sentiment - Picnic Time

 Grillin' Card
*First of all you may be wondering - a card at a picnic party?  Is it an invitation - could be, but my idea was to take pictures of the guests and give each one a memento of the occasion, which in my case is a double-b-day grillin' party for my husband and grand-daughter!
*Print art from Trina Clark (ants, hamburger, and fixings)
*LoveBug Creations Fun Footz - 2 bows (a patterned ribbon collection)
*Mister Huey Mask and Sprays for this triple-layered card
*Inside the card I made a pocket so a picture can be enclosed

I wish you a special grillin' event in your summer life!!

Here is the entire line-up in case you get lost:

Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to “Christmas In July” Blog Hop! So glad you can join us!

If you are coming from SARAH, then you are in the right spot. If you just happened to stumble upon my site or your reading this via e-mail, please start at MIRANDA'S BLOG so you don’t miss anyone’s amazing projects!

Have you started on your Christmas Cards and/or your Christmas Decor yet?  Well we will be showcasing some Christmas projects to help you get in the mood! In addition to seeing some awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too!  Miranda will be giving away a Michael's or JoAnn's gift card.  Winner's choice!  To be eligible to win the blog candy, you must leave a comment on each stop in the hop telling us what is your favorite summer time activity!  Be sure to leave a comment on each stop because the winner can be chosen from any of the participants blogs!

Have you ever bought crafting supplies with the greatest intentions of actually using them?  Well, I have a mountain of stuff that’s just waiting for me to crack open the packing and dive right in.

With that confession, I decided to design a Christmas card with some things I've never used and with non-traditional colors as well as traditional elements.

I cut and embossed two different blue cardstock pieces; next I used the beveled window pane and snowflakes to create a snowman stamped and colored image peeking out of the card.  This was my first attempt with this idea:

*SU Snow Much Fun Stamp - stamped and colored w/SU markers
*SU beveled window pane and snowflakes
*SU 1 ¾ “ punch
*SU cardstock – 2 shades of blue
*SU finial press embossing folder
*LBC Fun Footz - Polka Dot Parade  HERE
*LBC Rumple Ribbon – Simply Red
*LBC Mama’s Mesh – Ocean Blue
*Glitter gems – red, white, blue
*Banner punch and SU sentiment – Holiday Wishes Peace, Joy, Love
*Inside sentiment – hope your Christmas is snow much fun

Here is the entire line up, should you get lost along the way:

Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it.................cyberhugs.........Mama LoveBug

Dawn Rene's Gorgeous Over-Sized Tag ♥

Happy Monday! Dawn Rene here with you today to share an over-sized tag I made with Rumple Ribbons, the new Fun Footz, and a Julie Nutting mixed media doll stamp.

I used the Betsy Ross Blue ribbon to create the ruffle on the bottom of her dress and for the very small bow in her hair. I tied one of the new Fun Footz on top of the tag - the green chevron from the Poolside collection - along with the Lemonade rumpled ribbon. I love the blue, yellow and green colors together!

P.S. Lovebug Creations currently has an open creative team call! Check out the details here.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week.....

Down the Rabbit Hole with Fun Footz and Digi My World

Hello Crafties, Mama LoveBug here!  Have you tried designing with Clip Art?  If you don't have time or the inclination to color your digi stamps, but need a fun project for a card, layout, or table decoration/display, why not try a wonderful whimsical image from Digi My World?????  Glitz them up with Stickles, gel pens, etc AND don't forget LoveBug Creations Fun Footz Polka Dot Parade!

“I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

This quote is sooooo true for me as anyone who knows me would tell you, I would have never thought I'd delve into papercrafting or art or anything remotely associated with crafting!  Oh how I've enjoyed this adventure down the rabbit hole...........why not start your journey with clipart or digi stamps or paperpiecing.....the experience is out of this world with endless possibilities.

Since I am employed at our local library after retiring from a 38-year teaching position, I wanted to breathe some excitement, color, and imagination into an old multi-windowed display case.  To this end I've fashioned many double-sided stand-up cards, which are presented there on a rotating basis....out with the old and on with the new (so to speak).

For me, I like to fussy cut my images - I printed out Alice twice - one as you see and one in a horizontal flip.  I then adhered each print to Kraft cardstock (don't want her to fall over) and fussy cut two more times.  Hey, with a great pair of scissors (CutterBee), it's not a chore! Then as I said above, you can glitz your character any way you want.  Add some LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon and/or our newest product, Fun Footz, patterned ribbon, and you'll be the talk of your crafty set.

Digi My World has so many delightful and unique images to choose from in clip art and in digi stamp formats.  Journey down that rabbit hole for an utterly wonderful treat - you won't be disappointed!

Have a lovely day.........remember no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it........cyberhugs......Mama LoveBug.

A Wild Gift Tag - Fun is Afoot

Hello Crafties.  Since our reveal last Friday we've had tons of people WILD for Fun Footz and I wanted to share a gift tag I made with some embellies for a sweet idea to sparkle up a birthday! Drop by our online store HERE and check out the fun for yourself.

I used another zebra patterned FUN FOOTZ ribbon, the zebra paper piecing from PPbN, a red piece of cardstock that I embosssed with tree bark pattern, Kraft cardstock tag die, zebra-striped square through which I treaded Simply Black Rumple Ribbon, a gel pen for highlighting my image, corner rounder, and a computer-generated sentiment:

Happy Birthday Wild Thang!  You Make My Heart Sing!

You could adhere this to a gift bag or box OR use it as a book mark OR place it on the front of a card OR use it on a scrapbook page........diverse possibilities.........remember no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it...........cyberhugs........Mama LoveBug
