Hey Everyone!!!
Kimi here....
Weren't Mama Lovebug's Projects just too cute? Love em both!
I want to share with you all a card I made! If you didn't know I just got the Cameo on Thursday. It stayed in the box all day (sad I know!) so today I finally got it out! I knew I wanted to use it to make my project for today...What I didn't expect was how difficult it was going to be to do even the simplest thing!
I'm so used to my Cricut Imagine that this was a whole new ball of wax for me!
I spent so much time in the Silhouette store looking at everything and trying to find just the right image to compliment the "Bracketful" Pink by Design Stamp Set that I used (LOVE this set!!!)
So my project isn't what I wanted it to be but I think it's cute! And I know the teams are going to wow you with their projects!

Zeni & Martha's Beautiful Card Takeover ♥

Good morning everyone! Today it's Zeni and Martha taking over the blog.

Here's Zeni's project:

I made this card for a friend who needed a little lift me up. I really LOVE the color combination of "Eyes of Blue" Rumple Ribbon and the "On the Edge Lemonade" collection. It went absolutely perfect for this color scheme. The cute little angel pin was made by my friend Ana Garcia. You can see additional details on my blog.

and now Martha's project:

Hey Everyone :)
Hope you are all having a great Friday!
Today's card started as Clean and Simple, but I dont know how to do clean and simple hehe.

I used lace and a handmade flower
Sentiment is from Unity and of course Rumple Ribbon to finish off the card :)

This would be perfect on any of your plushies even if you don't sew. It's the perfect way to add some fancy to an otherwise ordinary stuffed animal.

Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Easter Blog Hop - do you have a basket to fill or eggs to color?  Hopefully you hopped over from Shelley and if so, you've taken the right bunny trail, but if you want to start the Easter project parade at the beginning, go to Blog Hostess Miranda

In addition to seeing a lot of awesome Easter creations, there is some blog candy available too.  Miranda will be giving away a Michael’s gift card.  To be eligible for the blog candy, you are required to visit each stop in the hop and leave a comment! The winner will be announced Wednesday, March 27, on Miranda’s  blog!

What's That?  Looks like the Easter Bunny showed up early!!
Double-sided stand-up card featuring this Easter Bunny from Paper Shelter (digi stamp), Stickles, and LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon double bow tie.

I'm going to a Linky Party HERE
Everyone Needs a Friend Who Is All Ears - This project is a gift bag, which could also be used as a table favor for your Easter feast.  Fill it with Easter treats!! I recently learned how to make gift bags from scrapbook paper - you need 2 pieces of 12 x 12 paper to create the bag.  I choose some paper that had a basket weave and used our LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon to make handles on the bag.  The image is a digi Toodles from Broken Box and the bunny and sentiments are from Peachy Keen and Jaded Blossom.  Stickles were used for highlighting after the coloring process.

You too can create Easter gifts, which express your whimsy.  Remember, no matter how you piece your paper and rumple your ribbon, have fun with it.  Cyberhugs............Easter Blessings to you.........Mama LoveBug!

Now hop to the next spot on our Easter parade with Mary Ann

Ellen Celebrates Life....Beautifully

Greetings, Rumple Ribbon fans! After a teeny delay by the post office (grrrr!), I was overjoyed the week before last to get in my package from Lovebug Creations with a load of fantastic new colors, including a few I show here. Isn't this Green Goddess simply luscious!!?

While I thought I'd be using my Green Goddess Rumple Ribbon on a St. Patrick's Day card, it turns out that it is the perfect complement to the Close To My Heart "Pear" cardstock I just got in to use with my "Chantilly" paper. MMMMmmm, I LOVE that paper almost as much as I LOOOOVVVVE that shade of green in Green Goddess (which is a part of the "Heaven and Earth Collection" of Rumple Ribbons.

So over on my blog, I'm featuring a bright and cheery sympathy card -- unusual, right? Well, after 92 years on God's green earth, I think we ought to be celebrating the "life well lived" of my friend's mother who passed last week. I hope it is well-received. Hop on over to get the particulars on this tri-fold shutter card.

While I'm still drooling over all the new Rumple Ribbons I received last week, I'd like to show you a new way I came up with to store these babies:

I cut the cardstock "spools" using a file from Silhouette America, using my Silhouette Cameo, sizing the spool 4.25" x 5", a perfect size for my Iris Ribbon Storage box. I ironed and wrapped each color separately around each spool, and labeled the color using my Brother P-Touch label system. I store them alphabetically in the box. Next, I took the tag that comes on each Rumple Ribbon, and glued a small piece of the corresponding color onto the back of the tag, and put the tags on a key ring where I've stacked the tags by color.
Cute, huh??

Mama Lovebug & Dawn Mercedes Welcome Spring and the Change of Seasons

Welcome Spring and the Change of Seasons plus perhaps a Change of Circumstance.

Mama Lovebug here today with a gift idea for a retirement.  This can be quite a dramatic change in one's season of daily routine.  Do you know someone who is retiring?  Have you been thinking of making a special card for that person?  I had occasion to create just such a card using a vintage freebie digi stamp - a corset.  I thought this would go along with a computer-generated sentiment - Corset's Your Retirement (hey you could use it for a birthday too - Corset's Your Birthday) - get the idea??

Here is my Double-Sided Stand- Up Corset You're Retiring Card:
The Top
 The Bottom

The Whole Corset
Recipe:
*Vintage freebie image - printed twice in two horizontal directions, fussy cut, adhered to another fussy cut layer (making a total of four fussy cuttings)
*Crop-o-dile punching down the center and decorative glittery brads
*Stickles for top and bottom and Stardust Clear gel pen
*Computer-generated sentiment
*Trim for bottom and three bows made from our LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon at the LBC Store
*Double-sided tape for the top to adhere to the other side of the card

I had a lot of fun making this one and I hope you're inspired to try your hand at making one too.........cyberhugs...........Mama LoveBug

Now on to Dawn Mercedes' Project!
A quick card b/c I have been on the verge of flu...trying to keep it at bay!
Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations can add texture and interest to your projects in a snap!

Chose a few sheets of funky papers and layer on top of your card base.
Then...EMBELLISH!

Paper: Jellybean Soup
Brads: Spareparts
I cut out the letters and added Sakura 3D Crystal Laquer to add some dimension and shine.
Lovebug Creative Rumple Ribbon: Sunflower
